Spurple I play tenor sax! I <3 it. I also play the flute, but there's just something awesome about the low-ness of the tenor. ^^ i agree! i play tenor at my school. i love that its low and louder than most instruments ;] and yet isnt heavy lol yes im lazy 3nodding

I play bassoon. Bassoon is epic.
Oh, by the way, you can make a Contra-Clarinet section and maybe even Contrabassoon, even though both instruments are quite rare. My band has a Contra-Alto Clarinet, but no Contrabassoon. sad Maybe even English Horn, it's sort of low sounding, but I guess whatever your point of view is.

i play bass clarinet. i started on rgular clarinet, but the lows are so much cooler. i only play clarinet in marching band cause i have to.

But my band teacher said that I won't be able to march with it on field this year D:. So I have to switch to tenor or alto for marching season. No idea which to choose.

It's in exactly the same key, and that's what I marched this season since it was my first (I'll be marching my bari sax next marching season) I feel it's easier to transition from.
