XXXXX Ibara groaned. He wanted to get back to training but first he had to make sure this genin wouldn't do anything foolish. Ibara closed his eyes and began to mumble under his breath as he communicated with his clone back at the academy. He opened his eyes and spoke. "Thank you Kaen, your help has been appreciated." Kaen let out a bark before vanishing from existence in another massive puff of smoke sending Ibara falling toward the somewhat large crater he had created in the middle of the field. "Stage one of this problem has been dealt with.." Ibara groaned and walked back toward the academy sure the clone he had spoken to would intercept Jocasta wherever she may have gone, Ibara had a good idea where someone who was injured would and probably should go.

Arriving to her desired destination Jae took a deep breath and reached her arms to the sky and stretched up as far as she could go. She let out a small sigh, loving the feeling of the warmth the sun provided on her skin. As she finished she looked off into the distance, staring a tree that marked the final resting places of two of her former comrades. The small ache of loneliness churned inside of her but she steeled herself away from the emotional onslaught. Looking to the red haired smoker she stared at him for a small spell. "I am Jae." She said, her introduction short and to the point. "I need to train with someone in order to get to where I want to be. This goes both ways. You will benefit as much as I will. Interested? " Her proposition was a two way street.
He had to admit the fields were beautiful. Stopping dead in his tracks he looked up and closed his eyes enjoying the warmth of the sun. Shrugging off his jacket he held his arms out to the side and basked in the warmth. After a moment he turned to the girl as she introduced herself,"Hotaru. Pleased to meet you Jae." When she proposed her deal he nodded with a smile,"Sounds good to me. Restrictions?" While he was clearly going to pull punches when it came to his longswords he wouldn't hold his ninjutsu back in any way.

It was moving a lot more smoothly than she had anticipated. Jae was normally a pushy person but her spirited personality usually compensated for her lack of social conscription. As he smiled at her she smirked, liking the flow. It was good that she picked the odd bird from the flock to work with. A do gooder who was eager to please Konoha as a whole would have irritated her. "Simple. We have three chances to use three jutsu to win the spar. No more, No less. I don't like dragging on a spar. We can go two separate rounds if you'd like. To get used to what the other has. What do you think? " Hotaru seemed open minded. This approach might make this more fast paced for the both of them. As she offered here idea, she stretched her arms out. Loosening her muscles was an automatic reflex before a spar.
Hotaru listened to her words intently memorizing each of the conditions of the fight. Pulling each longsword from their scabbards he took his stance. Each blade was off to the side pointed down at a forty five degree angle. Nodding to her with a smile he began,"Sounds like a plan. I am ready when you are." His eyes fell upon her in a different manner. He watched her hands her eyes her legs all of her body fell upon his gaze.

Weapons... Her scowl was defined. Hand moving to rest on her hip she watched him as intently as he watched her. It was nerve grating to make the first move in a battle. Sometimes first moves were costly. Her thumb moved over the hilt of Muru. She wasn't going to use the blade portion just yet. She needed to get in closer for that and he was sporting a pair of weapons that were close range as well. A small smirk dared to twitch at the corner of her mouth, Jae keeping it from fully forming on her lips. Grabbing Muru, she put the hilt of her weapon in her mouth, the chain automatically sliding out behind it as it moved to anchor her hilted end to the main device. Moving through a few hand signals she activated her chakra. In the same moment she dropped the hilt into her open palm and disappeared. Well, more like picked up speed at an insane frequency. Body flicker gave her an edge over close range opponents. Taking away the close defense they provided by turning that bubble into an offensive sphere.
Reappearing off to his left, she came in low, crouched. There were not many who could keep up with her at these speeds but Jae had learned not to underestimate anyone. No matter their age, rank nor status. She knew next to nothing about this person and did not waste a single movement. She would not expose herself anymore than she had to and produce a bigger target. The main purpose of her goal however, called or movement and she fixated immediately on his right side. Automatically she tossed the hilt of her bug wormed end at the sword that was in Hotaru's right hand. She was coming in close and fast with a certain goal in mind.
When she drew her weapon his eyes darted to it. Watching every detail of it as it were. If she went to the effort of making a display of drawing her weapon she meant to close with it. Stirring his chakra he waited until she disappeared to react instantly. His crimson chakra roared to life round him out of reflex hardening into a blazing ball of fire. The sound of the flames consuming the oxygen in the air around him filled him with joy. Though he was pulled form his sense of joy as he felt something collide with his weapon. Looking down he watched the bladed end of her weapon quickly wrap around his longsword. With a smirk he recognized what she was trying to do and would use it to his advantage. Using the crossguard of his other longsword and his own strenth to keep his blade in his hand he hooked his elbow and drove his right longsword deep into the ground pinning both his weapon and hers. Stepping onto the hilt of his former right weapon to keep it in place he smiled,"Not to bad miss Jae."

Kyuuka no Jutsu [ Flame Sphere Technique ] Rank: C Official Description: Quite easy to learn, it is also performed much differently from other Jutsus. Using the body as a heat source, the user molds Chakra to amplify it and make it entirely visible. Then the user expands it, using more Chakra, and takes on a red, spherical shape. This shield is used as a defense against both Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. It isn’t very powerful, though, and can only parry at most one technique before deactivating. A drawback to this Jutsu, though, is based on the body’s temperature. If the user performs this technique late in a fight they risk fainting due to both a drastic change in body temperature and already stressed body levels. Wasting one's breath with words was not Jae's style. Nor was easily accepting a compliment. Hotaru had pinned one end of her weapon. While it stopped it from being used in a wider radius it did not immobilize her weapon. There were many directions she could move this fight into but she chose not to be too aggressive. A spar to Jae was a movement of body, a training of the mind but in the face of an actual fight none of the feelings and reactions she experienced could truly be reproduced in a fight. No matter how neutral her opponent was in the term of how she saw them. Hotaru had been her experimentation of it but she realized as she quickly sifted through her next move that she wasn't able to get into the fight as much as she would have liked. Sure, she felt slightly more alive but it was a short lived emotion.
Tossing the open end of Muru at Hotaru's remaining blade she used that diversion to make her hand signals. The winds around them began to stir before quickly being sucked in close around Jae's body. The air began to change, becoming something more volatile and explosive. As quickly as the air gathered and compressed it pushed out and away from Jae in a violent burst. She wanted to shove him as far away as possible now, trying to use the force of the winds to force him away from his weapon.
Again his eyes watched her with, though unlike someone watched someone normally. No his eyes watched her like a wolf stalking its prey. He watched her hand trace across her body but kept his eyes focused on her and not her weapon. He had already judged the size of it and the amount of damage it could inflict upon him and judged it minimal. She may have been holding back but he certainly wasnt going to. As her fuuton chakra filled the air he smiled and took a deep breath. After a moment he stepped forward and began exhaling a stream of fire that formed into a ball of flames. The sound of air being consumed by the flames filled the air as his jutsu consumed hers and continued on after being fed by it. He didnt mind if her weapon made contact with his own after all he would simply bury it into the ground as he had the first one if he had the chance to do so, though he doubted very greatly she would make that mistake again.

Fire against Fuuton. Wasn't the easiest of elements to go up against but she was not deterred from using her techniques against him. It would serve her as good practice in the long run. So she chanted to herself. Her chain had wrapped itself around his weapon, the man embedding it once more into the ground. Jae dove for the first end of her weapon, that was jammed into the ground already. She reached for the hilt, engaging the button that released the spring and the blade. Even shoved into the ground it would break through the soil slightly, giving her a better chance for dislodging it. Pulling it quickly she unlatched the chain that bound her bug worm, silently being glad that Myurai had thought to be as efficient as possible when helping her craft Muru.
She tossed the bug worm up as she moved through the motions of activating her next Jutsu. Her gale palm reverse technique was best suited for turning her winds on another futton user but she would use it as a way to propel her weapon at faster speeds to catch Hotaru off guard. The winds once more came to life but she directed this time, bracing her elbow as she stiffened her arm out. Once the blade had dropped right where she wanted it, straight between her and Hotaru, she let loose. The winds shot out, the force lending aid to the projection of her small short sword that had been hidden in her bug worm. Even if he were to overpower her technique again the blade was not something that relied on the forces of Ninjutsu. It was a new combination she had decided to try out. Now was a good chance to see what could be...
He had to give it to her, no matter what, she was good and she knew what she was doing. Gathering his chakra his fingers spazzed as his ruby chakra shifted into life creating a ruby aura around him. Shuffling back he watched her move, in that singular moment he knew that he couldnt win with the rules as they were, but he could tie.. Hardening his body he prepared himself for what was to come, it was going to hurt there was no doubt about that. Right on time her shortsword buried itself into his shoulder. He quickly inhaled a large amount of air before exhaling all of it into three giant flaming dragon heads. The first of which clashed with her jutsu while the other two raced towards her with blazing intensity.

This fight had ended in a draw, Jae realizing that the moment her blade impaled itself into her opponents shoulder. A small pang of guilt riddled through her but she kept her expression blank. She was unsure whether or not showing any other face would be smart, in front of Hotaru. It was better to be seen as uncaring and callous versus vulnerable, weak and amicable. Jae had not decided which line she would stand on yet, while she remained in Konoha once more. Being amicable towards comrades was still difficult and would require her energy, energy she didn't have. Her mind had wandered slightly, Jae furrowing her brow as she quickly moved through the motions of evasion.
The heads were moving quickly, in one singular direction. At her. While Jae's build had not allowed for her to be strong enough to pack a punch she was nimble enough to be light and quick. All of which she used to her advantage. She didn't remain in the same spot, running for the left and diving out of trajectory of the dragon heads. Bringing her knees into her body she curled into a ball and rolled. It wasn't until her momentum began to cease did she unfurl herself and stare up at the sky. Her breath came out in a small pant. This spar was over. The warmth of the sun above her heated up her already heated skin. Fire. It would have served her better to use Suiton but she had wanted to challenge herself. Test her limits and see if she could rely on one style universally. She didn't lose, despite being crippled by the unbalanced energies. That made her feel slightly better.
Sitting up stiffly she pushed herself to her feet. Her stockings had torn, Jae frowning as she stared down at her legs. Small abrasions could be seen but other than that she was in good condition. Brushing the grass and foliage off of her, she moved to recover her weapon. Bracing her foot against his weapons she gave them a decent kick to dislodge her chain. Recovering her open end she clipped it back onto it's holster. Repeating the same steps she freed her chain and recoiled it back to its resting place with the mechanism that Myurai had crafted for her. Turning on her heel she went to retrieve the last of her weapon and check on Hotaru. "Are you alright?" She asked, her voice low and steady. Her blue eyes stayed glued to the afflicted area, her lips pulled down in a frown. Her aim had been too close to the marker. A little lower and she could have hit him in the chest. Guilt returned and she swept her gaze toward the ground. "I was careless." Maybe testing her abilities on fellow shinobi wasn't such a good idea. She needed to spar against enemies more often.
Assuming that the blade had been dislodged, she reached for it and cleaned it off on her torn stockings. Once she was done she pushed the small button and let it withdraw back into place. It now looked like it's normal bug worm self. She put it back in the holster that was at the small of her back. Not meeting Hotaru's gaze she bowed slightly. "Thanks for the spar. Take care." She muttered, turning on her heel and heading out. There was something she needed to do.
Each and every time Yasu came to the fields he felt a relaxing serenity about himself, as if this place were meant for something spiritual. Sliding his hands into his pockets he wandered thought the fields checking here and there for tracks, broken branches, thinks of that nature. Having found none after no less than two hours of wandering around he decided to call it and head off.
Making his way back to the fields yasu decided it was time for some manual labor. All around him was a good two feet of leaves and they needed to be removed before they became a fire hazard. So taking the most direct route yasu took a deep breath and knelt. [1/3][1/3]
From all around him he gathered shadows to form his Kageton. Forming a seal he called the shadows to life around him as they rose from the ground forming sharp points. Then with a force of will he directed the dozens of spikes all around him impaling leaves by the scores as he went. [2/3][2/3]
So far he was doing quite a good job of cleaning up all the leaves. Before long each of the two dozen spikes of shadows had no less than two dozen leaves upon them. Directing the shadows to bring the leaves into a pile he formed a seal and used raiton chakra to create sparks and thus ignite the leaves setting the large pile ablaze. Again as before Yasu called his shadows to life as he moved across the field to another leaf heavy location. From there he watched his shadows dance as he knelt and poured extra chakra into the shadows. They needed to be faster, stronger and more agile. [1/3]
While he was getting an amount of progress and they were getting quicker in their leaf skewering duties they still were not fast enough. He was more than capable of target tracking and direction given that he was targeting the leaves that were direclty in front of him. Lacing the shadows over top of one another made it easier to hit all the leaves in quick succession. [2/3]
Despite the fact that unlike his normal habit of only giving about sixty percent and 100 percent to training, he quickly came to realize no matter how hard he tried and how hard he pushed those shadows were not going to go any faster, or at least, not right now they were not. [3/3]
Releasing his seal he again torched the pile of leaves and headed over to the final area of leaves. While on one hand he was pissed that he could not force his shadows to go faster it did give him an idea. Taking a knee, just like the last two times he formed a seal and set the shadows about skewering up the leaves. [1/3] [1/3]
Ninjutsu was crafting using a series of seals to alter the state and nature of chakra. Kageton was in fact an element but what would happen if he used another seal to alter said element to give it traits of another element? Taking a deep breath he stacked the leaves his shadows had collected and released the seal. This time he went though the seals again but tacked on the dog seal at the end of it. [2/3] [2/3]
When he did so the change, was instantly noticable. All down the spikes and across every inch of shadow his kageton entered, danced sparks of lighting. When the spikes of shadow pierced a leaf they did not go though cleanly, no they shredded the leaves. Well that was certainly an interesting change and one he would be sure to remember later. Setting the final pile ablaze he headed out for the mission board. [3/3] [3/3]

Masahiro sighed as the group arrived at the Serec Fields and made his way to the lumber yard on its skirts. Removing a tag from his pocket he pressed it into a large banded group of wood, destined for transport to Sunagakure no Sato and with a charge of his chakra it was absorbed, into the seal and sent to the location Bastet had set for it to be delivered. His eyes scanned one of the other piles, but he would give them time to handle the first before moving on to another.
"It's been what, two years now, Ryouichi, Three maybe since we both stood in this village together." Masahiro asked as he looked to the man who had been his comrade some time ago.
Sighing he leaned up against the other pile of lumber and placed the tag back into his jacket pocket, his eyes scanning the man before him and then to the various lizards. Surprised that he had kept them summoned the entire time he traveled here. He was cautious, they were too. The Wild Cat sage nodded and then looked to the ANBU. Hunt Two, seemed to be under different orders from the rest of the ANBU in the village currently. So too had they been out searching for this man before the reconstruction had begun.
"Our Ally, Sunagakure was also just attacked recently, by an unknown aggressor. Times have come tense along the borders of the different nations. Former Kazekage, Miyamoto Bastet was with my clone when the office was bombed, moments after she told me of the attack. We've been under assault by a group of Bandits who've only been identified by two things. The following seal," He said as he pulled out a leaflet with the Kanji 火先 (Tip of the Flame) scrawled upon it. "They call themselves the Flamespire Syndicate, and the only information we have about their actual organization is that they follow a being named Hotaru. The only information we'd gotten on them, through a captured agent, until recently was that they were seeking out pieces of bio-mechanical technology in dead drops from a former allied Doctor." The Hokage spoke as he eyed the man across from him.

The user is now slightly more resilient to damage. ● Iron Disciple: The user, through hours of intense training in multiple bad scenarios, has learned the old saying of “to kill with one punch.” Because they do not want to find themselves outnumbered, or maybe for pure enjoyment sake, the user is able to hit with great intensity when striking a foe, focusing on tension, grounding, stability, and strength at the impact sight. The users striking strength is increased. ● Iron resolve: The user has been thrown around, impacted, and beaten down so many times that they are not just physically more resistant, they are mentally used to getting their a** beat! The users physical and mental toughness is increased, granting a passive stamina increase.
Nigirikobushi no Shintou: ● Impact Resistance: Upon completing this training, the user suffers no recoil damage from techniques from any non-Rigorous Taijutsu or Bukijutsu Style up to either the highest trained rank in this Style or the highest trained rank in the Hard Physical Formless Style, whichever is lower, and does not suffer damage from striking anything harder than their fists. ● Focal Point: The user meditates through combat, taking time to narrow their focus to their Chakra pathways. In so doing, they become innately aware of when they are being observed in combat, and can pinpoint the locations of anyone below their rank observing them within one meter.
Shigure Souen: ● Insight Rain :: The user will practice extending themselves into the atmosphere, in a sense. After much dedication, the user develops the ability to sense hostile intent in the immediate area. As to where, however, they cannot be sure.
Kishitou Yoroi: ● All Simple techniques in this Style are treated as Spiritual when interacting with other techniques. ● For interacting with physical techniques, light armor is treated as granting C-Rank defense, medium armor B-Rank defense, and heavy armor A-Rank defense. ● While wearing armor, the user is capable of using all Taijutsu techniques they know as normal. ● Acclimation: Can move in armor without hindrance. Supreme bonus to Physical Strength (Power) using abilities with Compatible Armor. (Now all armor as per Kishitou) ● Shifting Position: All techniques that would move or topple Masahiro now affect him as one rank less. And he cannot be toppled by techniques of lower level than his armor. ● Knight's Blade: Effects of style now affect all armor types and armanents and can be used in any style of armor.
