Text practically ran into class, angry at herself for being so late. "Sorry I'm late, professor. I got stuck in a trick stair."
She walked over to her desk and pulled out her wand, eager to catch up with the rest of the class. She walked over to the wall where the suits of armor were lined up and, after looking around a bit to see what they were practicing, she pointed her wand steadily at the suit of armor.
"Stupefy!"
The statue was evidently stunned.
Text took a very deep breath. She was highly determined to do this right the first time.
"Rennervate!" The armor was returned to it's normal state. Text sighed in relief, and kept practicing the spell, for good measure.

Ravenclaw
Nam's lips cracked into an amused grin as Ghaleon spoke. He was a bit modest. However, thanks to this trail of thought he was caught off guard. On top of his already slow reflexes, he'd barely raised his wand when the spell hit. Giggling uncontrollably, he turned his wand on himself. "F-Fin eeh hee hee!! Fin-hee-te!"
But instead of stopping the countless invisible fingers ghosting against his skin, it merely changed to a weak petting feeling. Nam sighed as an invisible hand rubbed up and down his back. "Well... that didn't work out too well." Another invisible hand ruffled his hair. "Maybe you can finish it off?"
Nam furrowed his brow and stared hot cheeked at the floor. "Uhm... I just realized we heard the instructions wrong. The person who casts rictumsempra was supposed to lift it too. Finite is for ending a spell, not deflecting it... I should have told you earlier." He was feigning that it had crossed his mind before. Truthfully, he had been too distracted with talking to some one for once to pay attention to the lesson.

Well done, Meiko and Text! 10 points to you for learning your spells!
Yes, you can leave after you've mastered the spell, Kage. But if you'd like, you can stay and practice the spell until the end of class.
Oh, hello, Pockey! Nice to meet you! I'm Professor HarryPotterFreako! Welcome to defense against the dark arts! And it's alright. *Smiles* Don't worry about the books. *I wave my wand and the books float back to where they belong* There!
Great work class!

Callysto grinned, pulled her wand out of her robes and cast "Stupefy!" on the nearest statue. The spell was successful! She walked over to were it sat and held her wand out toward it. "Renervate!"

"I guess I'll practice a few times before leaving then...." I say turning to face some armor. "Stuppefy!" I say clearly. I watched in satisfaction as the armor fell to the ground. I walked over and pointed my wand to the armors head. "Rennervate!" I smiled when I noticed the armor begin to move again. I glanced over to Callysto. "Good job" I said, sending her a smile. I practiced the spell a couple more times before turning to face Daemon. "You staying for the rest of class of leaving?"

"Should we try it again?" Ghaleon asked his classmate Nam after the laughter had settled. "I do imagine it would be hard to cast a spell when laughing... what if you started the incantation while I do mine? That way by the time the spell hits you you'll only have one syllable left to speak?"
Ghaleon looked unsure of himself even as he spoke the idea. "It does sound needlessly complicated though, doesn't it?"

Aludra Yvette... Aludra got up from her set and stretched out her body. Sitting down in that hard chair so long had started to make her back hurt. "Oooooh thats good." she yawned, rubbing on the base of her back as she walked around the classroom staring at the students who were still on their spells... and maybe a bit of entertainment before the next lesson. ...6th Year Slytherin

*walks in and takes a seat in the back* Hello Professor, I am new to Hogwarts, but I have a fair amount of knowledge in these Dark Arts. You may refer to me as Thief, or Lordess, but other than that I will not respond. Forgive me if I may lag behind, I am not a top student and I certainly will not appreciate if I were the center of attention.

"Um... yeah." Nam didn't feel like pushing it, but he couldn't shake the feeling some thing was being done wrong. He looked around nervously.
"Uhm... professor harrypotterfreako, is it possible to end a spell before it takes effect?" He danced around the question really on his mind.
(( "his Nam"? xd Wasn't aware he became property of Ghaleon. ))
