Lillian calmed down a bit at Kenneth's words but she backed up when he offered her a drink. She moved to the edge of her bed and gave him a skeptical look, like an animal being offered food. She slowly took the drink from him and put it to her lips. Then she stopped and asked him with wide eyes, "You swear it isn't posion?"

Just as Kenneth had suspected, Lillian reacted like he was going to harm her even more. He pulled back his hand and looked directly into her eyes. "I swear on my Auror Badge and my life that his is not poison. It's going to help you sleep, while we wait for the Healer to come and patch you up." He said as he stretched out his arm once more and offered the potion once more to Lillian for her to take.

She breathed a bit heavily for a moment. Then asked a question she didn't want an answer to: "If I sleep...will I wake up?"
She took a deep breath, and added in her head, 'I wish it were posion, Kenneth. I really do. I don't want to wake up...'
She gulped down the entire potion and felt drowsy almost directly afterwards. She slumped down onto the bed, and fell asleep.

"Thanks, Sir." Al said when she watched her mother sleep. She kept replaying all the things her mom had said that day in her head and felt so bad for Lillian. She wished she could've stopped it sooner.

Al was starting to feel really tired herself, but she didn't want to leave Lillian.
"Are you sure it's alright for me to go, Professor?" She asked.
"I stayed up all night, so I am pretty tired. But...I don't want to just leave her."

"Of course you will wake up." he reassured Lillian as he drank the potion putting herself into a dreamless sleep that would last for many hours. He picked the empty vial off her bed and set it aside then turned to face Al "Your welcome Al, and yes it will be alright for you to go and get some sleep. Your mom is going to be fine, its just going to take time to recover. I know first hand what its like to be tortured with the Dark Arts and as you can see I'm whole and well. Now off you go, and please let the other Gryffindor's know that the situation has been taken care of they don't already know. In the morning someone will make an announcement to the whole school abolishing all those decrees. For now its best if everyone remains in their beds till morning."

"Yessir." She nodded and left the room to sleep.

Kenneth stifled a yawn as he watched Al leave and Lillian sleep. It was about time that he got to bed himself, he was basically running on fumes since he had returned to the castle. Lillian would be safe now and taken care of once the Healer arrived, there was nothing more that he could do for her at the moment. He would of course be there if she needed to talk, not many people knew what it was liked to be tortured. With one last look at Lillian he followed Al and left the Hospital Wing.

Aludra Yvette...

Aludra gave one last glance at Lillian before walking out of the Hospital Wing behind Al and Kenneth. It was about time she got herself ready for bed, but not without a few tasks first.

Kenneth slowly pushed open the doors to the Hospital Wing. He wanted to check in on Lillian before he headed down for some breakfast as well as speak to her about dismissing all those decrees. Sure some of the students, the ones that fought, knew that Desdemona had been ousted from the school, but some still did not know. He noticed that Lillian was still fast asleep, the potion he had her drink last night no doubt was still be in effect. So he quietly took a seat in the same chair that Al had been sitting in for most of the night, and waited for Lillian to wake.

[[ Can we just pretend that the Healer arrived during the night and patched Lillian up? That would move things along quite faster than waiting for someone to RP it happening. ]]

Lillian woke up slowly and saw Kenneth sitting near her.
"Hewwo..." she mumbled. Then she reallized Al wasn't there ((Al's still sleeping)) and began to panic.
"Where's Al!? Did Desdemona get her!?" Her eyes scanned the room but when she still didn't see her daughter she scurried up the bed so she was sitting awkwardly at the headboard, staring at Kenneth.

((I can just make on big post maybe about how the healer came in maybe?))

"No Al is fine," he said quickly "She's up in Gryffindor Tower asleep with the other students. I sent her to bed, she didn't need to stay by your side all night." Kenneth said reassuring Lillian who freaked when she woke up and noticed that he and not her daughter was sitting in the chair next to her bed. "So how are you feeling?" Kenneth asked inquisitively. He'd get around to talking to Lillian about the decrees once he found out how she was doing.

She nodded when Kenneth mentioned her daughter and fell back onto the bed, no longer looking around. She winced as she laid her back down, she still felt like she was aching all over. It was painful just to breath, her lungs felt deflated.

Lillian teared up and pulled the covers around her best she could. She hated getting asked things...what if she asked wrong and got hit with the torture curse? She stammered a bit before answering
"B-better..." She winced madly, and pulled the covers over her head.
"I'm sorry! So sorry!" She yelled in a muffled voice from under the blankets.

Kenneth closed his eyes and let out a small sigh, just as he thought her emotional and psychological recovery was going to take much longer than the physical. Maybe he ought to tell her about his past, at least she would know that in time things would get better. She at least look better, not like someone had used her as a punching bag, the Healers must have come by during the night. "Lillian there is nothing to be sorry for," he said in the most gentlest voice he could muster. "I'm glad that your feeling better, so I'm guessing that the Healers did stop by during the night?"

She peeked out from under the covers, her eyes red and puffy.
"Yeah..." she whispered.

She remembered is clearly, half a dozen healers had walked in. She had screamed of course, but they comforted her and gave her lots of potion to calm her down. They muttered quick spells to mend her bones, and stoof there for hours, trying to seal up the deep cuts from the curse that had hit her over and over again and caused her so much pain. They had explained everything to her carefully, and just incase she forgot, they wrote it all down and handed her the note. She knew she wouldn't forget, she always had a good memory. Just like no matter how hard she tried to block things out with Desdemona, she knew the memories would always linger.

"H-here...they told me to show this to you..."
She had tucked the note under the matress. It took a bit of effort to get out, but when she did she handed it to Kenneth. She had had it read to her last night.

"Lillian's physical recovery should be fairly quickly, and she is improving greatly. There may still be some issues with scarring, and certain bones or cuts may pain her for a while, the torture curse can do unbelieveable damage. We are concerned about her weight, if she has to be force-fed, so be it. She is extremely underweight by about 20-30 pounds. She needs to drink a lot of water as well, keep hydrated or she may start passing out.
Her emotional and mental recovery may not go as smoothly. The Imperius curse and torture curse combined that many times can do a severe amount of damage, and it is a wonder that she still knows who she is. Be extremely gentle and patient. In time the Imperius curse's effects will wear of, so long as she isn't hurt physically or emotionally before then. Try to bring up the situtaion gradually as time goes on, so she can accept it rather than block it out. If it's blocked out entirely, she'll never face it or cope with it. A memory charm will only worsen her stability, so do not attempt it on her. If the Professor's at Hogwarts need further help, feel free to call St. Mungo's, we will come quickly."
