Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!" "..." Cloud's steps came to a stop as his path was barred by an oddly dressed girl. Another from off-world he assumed. "...You're in my way. Move." He said, his hand going to the handle of Soul Edge, drawing it and resting it against his shoulder. "You don't understand anything. The Beast is a threat to all life on this planet. I have to destroy it, and as long as I can do that, whatever happens to me as a result is worth it. My life isn't worth the lives of all the people in this world." Even if he was taken control of, which he had considered, he could potentially break free, and even if that was impossible, he would be struck down. "Now move, or I'll test this sword on you." He really didn't want to fight the girl, but he did want to test this sword's power. Preferably on monsters or some sort of enemy, though, not on this unknown teenage girl. (( OoC: ))

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!" "You're wasting your breath." Cloud said. "I'm not going to listen to what you have to say. I don't care what you think. Whatever it takes, I must destroy The Beast." He began walking forward. "Then destroy it," He said, shoving past her. "...After The Beast is dealt with." He finished, starting to walk past her. Clearly she didn't want to fight, and he didn't want to fight her, so there was no point in staying here. He wasn't going to listen to her, after all. And she couldn't really stop him with words. So, he continued forward, towards Fenrir to exit the city. (( OoC: ))

   "Cloud has a thing about letting people help him.." Yet another girls voice joined the fun, this one Cloud may or may not recognize as Kana. She was pretty popular at one time, mostly during her kill streak days. It would be surprising if he didn't know her! "Even those that are just trying to help! " She said as she floated down next to the girl there.It didn't seem as if Kana was going to do anything, which is exactly what she wanted him to think. She let him continue on, had he stopped to look at her, or say anything.Only once he continued to try and leave, was when she moved into action.
"This is how to take Cloud's toys away. " She said quietly so only Alisa would hear her, before Cloud knew what was coming, her famous round of chains shot down before he could so much as react to stop them. By the time he realized something was there, he would see the Soul Edge captured by those many chains, suspended in thin air, high above Cloud and the two girls. She was keeping it clearly out of his reach, without adding any dangers to herself with it doing anything to her. She figured nothing would happen so long she didn't touch it physically. "Now, i'm going to take this thing away, to a place no one can be bothered by it's evil taunts!"

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!" Cloud didn't stop as the new girl showed up. He knew by now it was Kana, Fenris' daughter, and he knew she had been changed by one of Nero's kids. He wasn't sure which one, he had so many. "..." He just kept walking, until suddenly the chains came around Soul Edge. He immediately reached for the sword grabbing the handle as the chains tried to pull it away. He would hold it there, trying to pull it out of the hold of the chains. The sword's eye seemed to be going several different directions, as if assessing the situation. Then, the sword came out of his grasp, flying up as the chains proved the stronger. Turning now, and in the same movement drawing the Tsurugi, Cloud raised the blade. "Hruh!" He shouted, slamming the blade onto the ground, sending out a green shockwave intended to strike Kana, and then branch off and hit Alisa, as he used Blade Beam. Clearly, he didn't feel like playing around. (( OoC: ))

 "Hmm. Gosh, Cloud. Where do you store all those swords of yours anyway? " She had to ask, as if it were such a time for it. "I mean, it must be SO heavy, running around with a ton of heavy swords at your back.So silly, and here you had to add another one to your collection! " It was almost as if the entire situation was a joke to her, she didn't seem all to concerned now that she had the sword out of his reach. "It's almost cute you thought you could keep something from me. I'm still stronger then you! " Which she made clear by pulling the blade from Cloud's grasp with her lovely chains. "See, if you don't stop I might have to bring someone back here that can stop you..." Gee, who could she be talking about. There has only been one person in the world to succeed in stopping everything she's ever tried doing in the past, and who knew, that staff of his could probably end this godly sword.
To bad, Cloud decided to choose to fight. She would keep that word, though for now she couldn't pass up a chance to fight again, her opponent being Cloud Strife was just to exciting to pass up! As the green shock wave swept across the ground in a roaring thundering strike, Kana teleported herself up, right on top of the chains as if she were a girl of cat-like balance. Then, just like that, she dived right off, her own weapon appearing in her hands as she neared him, taking one heavy swing to Tsurugi, attempting to disarm him yet again.
Alisa sighed, and in the time it took to do that, she had already had her over-sized, rather wicked looking sword in a stance to return the fight. Another second, and she had the beam strike and fizzle out against a large rounded metal which formed right from the blade, acting as a shield to protect her from his attack. That was something knew. Slowness at this time was not an option, the second the attack was dispelled, the shield reseeded back into the weapon, only to have it take yet another shape, this time of a minigun..that really wasn't so mini at all! "I had hoped it wouldn't have to come to this..." Alisa said, her eyes now set onto Cloud, who was also having to deal with Kana at the same time. "But maybe a little sense DOES need to be knocked into you!" She would have to be careful, of course as to not hit Kana had this proceeded worse.

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!"  "Stronger than me?" Cloud's eyes narrowed, disregarding most of her other words. "Prove it then." He said as the Blade Beam seemed to be about to strike, but then she suddenly vanished just before it did. Of course. Cloud quickly inspected his surroundings, to try to find the girl, but it was only a moment later he saw movement that caused his sights to shoot up, seeing the girl right above him, swinging her scythe. The weapon collided with the Tsurugi, which made his arms fly upwards, above his head, though he held onto the sword, luckily for him. With his arms high up, he just brought it right back down, slashing once, then slashing right, and a last time, slashing left, intending for the last strike to send her flying, as he used Cross Slash.
Though even if he was able to knock her away, he wouldn't be able to capitalize as the girl he had taken his eyes off of had her weapon ready, and even a single shot from her large gun would send Cloud back a short distance, skidding against the ground a bit just from the gun's sheer power. "Really? Your allowing me? ....Oh, I like you a lot more now, Cloudy! " Kana's eyes almost seemed to light up at the mention to prove herself stronger. He really, really didn't know what he had just gotten himself into.And it was then Kana went on her attack, more like, put Cloud as her little mouse to play with. He may of managed to knock her back by that last move of Tsurugi's brute power, but it didn't send her to far back as she only disappered again, only to reappear there above him, sending a swift kick into his back to knock him down as she dropped from the sky. Kana didn't even give him a chance to get up, nor did Alisa get her chance to send a few bullets after him due to Kana's speed. More chains appeared, small thinner ones as they found their way around Cloud's wrists and ankles, and Kana herself, perched herself over him."I don't like to use this power, coming from my father's side, but right now, so sorry, Cloudie! It's required! "
While Kana kept him pinned, she reached a hands to ether side of his head, creating a darkness that would soon invade Cloud's mind, he would hear a voice, a very particular, dear voice to him. His mother's. She would go on to tell him to say in his own mind, subconsciously, to tell the Soul Edge to release it's contract with him. He didn't need it..She would go on to tell Cloud it would only destroy him, much like Alisa had tried to warn him about. While Kana didn't know if this would work, she wanted to give it a try at least. She had nothing to lose at this point.

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!" "Just try it." Cloud said, not as happy as she was clearly. After his Cross Slash connected, he took a moment to recompose himself, but he clearly didn't know Kana's speed, as a moment was all she needed. By the time he was standing normally again, he felt himself struck, and a moment later, he was on his back, grunting in pain. She was both faster and stronger than he expected, more so than she appeared. She was small after all. A moment later, before he could move he found his wrists and ankles bound, and a weight came over him as she straddled him. Well, she had taken control of this fight rather fast.
Though her next move was... not a great one. As soon as he heard his late mother's voice, his eyes widened, enraged. He could see through the illusion rather easily, and his anger caused him to, with a bit of a struggle, pull one of his hands out of the glove it was in, so it was free of the chain around it. Then, he reared his arm back and went to punch Kana right in the face. This wasn't something Cloud would normally do to any girl, but considering what she was doing, he didn't think too hard about it. Then, he would hold his palm out, casting a form of Firaga that send three orbs of fire out, to slam into Kana and hopefully get her off of him.
Not that it mattered much if that didn't break her concentration enough, since he was still in chains, but maybe it would stun Kana a bit so he could try to escape. He again seemed to forget about the other girl's presence, though. (( OoC: ))

So that was his weakness, while at the same time his strength.Kana didn't seem to realize what he was doing with his gloved hand, until it was free and heading straight for her face! But, before it could make a painful bruise to her pretty face, Cloud's hand was grabbed. Had he looked, he would see it wasn't Kana holding his hand, but the other girl he had so quickly forgotten about. And in that second, he would also notice he was staring into the barrels of one very large gun."I wouldn't move anymore, if I were you. " Alisa began to say, the grasp on his wrist was tight,and quite painful. "I didn't want to harm you, but if you are so easily able to strike a girl, you may need to learn some manors! There is no excuse for lifting your hand to a girl who is only trying to help. " In a forceful way, sure, but at this time Cloud wasn't really giving anyone many options for it to be any other way. " You don't want to fight me..I won't go easy, and you will be unable to defeat this beast if you are dead! Now, one last time. Do away with that sword, and leave here. " He didn't have it in his possession right now, of course. She only meant for him to give it up, and to stop perusing to take it.

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!" "Guh!" Cloud grunted out as the unknown girl grabbed his wrist. Well, he knew one more thing about her. She was really physically strong. Then again, to hold such a large weapon, one would have to be. "..." With the crazy girl straddling him, and this girl right there, along with the chains, one might think he didn't have a lot of options. But one might be wrong. "...I'll take my chances." He said, opening the palm of his hand and activating another spell: Flare. The spell would erupt from the man's hand, sending out a massive explosion that would damage all in its wake. In this instance, Cloud included, due to the fact that his hand wasn't pointed away from his own body. But he would take that, in the hopes of getting the girls away from him.
Had that worked, he would also have to be lucky enough that the chains would be either destroyed or dispersed. If they weren't, then he hadn't done much to help himself. Though even if they had gone off him, he wouldn't move for a few moments, due to the spell damaging him as well. (( OoC: ))

A lisa Amiella "...???" Well, that wasn't something she thought he would pull. Just to get them off him, he would resort to hurting his own self? What an interesting, determined young man he was. She let his hand go, but that wasn't quick enough. The spell had already been cast, and she was still fully in it's path, as was Kana. Both of them were thrown away from him a good few feet, the chains that binded Cloud, as well as the sword, all suddenly vanishing from the distraction that broke her concentration in keeping them there. Fortunately for Kana, she still was just as determined to keep Cloud from continuing down the path of his destruction, which started by that cursed blade.His attack was a mere throw off, but it did nearly no damage to the demon princess. Which her options running low, she had wondered herself, what would happen if she did touch it, while it was under Cloud's care? Or rather, his soul! "If I just grab it quick enough...I can take it to the firelands to be destroyed, then stupid-head won't be able to kill himself with it! " Kana quietly though to herself, as she stood next to it, only to send more chains to slip around it, just in case it decided to move on it's own next.
"Your an idiot, Cloud...Why can't you just give up? You know this thing is dangerous already. You know it isn't going to help. You may not give a care about yourself, which puts you in an even tougher situation..You are reckless. " Alisa began to say, she didn't move much, letting her body recover as she knelt at the ground for several moments."Think about it over my gift to you.." Only once she began to feel her strength was able to hold up, she was right back to her feet and walking over to Cloud as he laid there helpless. He would feel another form of pain in the form of her shoe jamming into his side to toss him on his stomach. From there, she knelt down, her knee digging into his back as she grabbed his arms, twisting them painfully behind his back! The pain was very real, almost worse then that flare spell! "How much pain can you take, until you give up on that sword? This can become much, much more painful. If you ever want to be able to wield another weapon again, you should do as we say. "

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!" Clearly, Cloud didn't care about himself as much as he did getting the power to defeat the Beast. He knew the Flare spell would strike him, and he did it nonetheless. He didn't expect it to keep him down for so long, though. But the chains were gone, so that was a positive.
That was when he felt a shoe slam into his side, causing him to gasp in pain, forcing him to roll over to his front. Then, came the sudden, unexpected pain. "Aghhh...!!" Some gift this was. One he wished he could decline... "Gh... Aghh!" He screamed out in pain, struggling to free himself. Though to his surprise, this girl was... strong. Much stronger than him, as she was able to keep a firm hold on him despite his struggles. This was... actually pretty humiliating. "Nngh... Do as you say? ...N-no... I refuse... Let... me... go!!" He shouted, once again trying to struggle, though it did him little good. There was likely no escaping this as long as she didn't want him to.
Meanwhile, Soul Edge's eye was darting around the area, blinking occasionally. Kana may get the urge to grab the sword, due to the insane amount of power it would potentially grant her, but she would also get a terrible sense of dread. That would tell her that grabbing the sword would be a very bad idea, and that taking the sword away from the area would be an equally bad idea. (( OoC: ))

A lisa Amiella "Really, Cloud? Are you serious right now? I have you in this hold to bring you enough pain until you pass out, or accept. Why on earth would I let you go now? " She sighed out, this man was not quite as bright as the rumors she heard were.Applying more pressure with her knee, and tightening her grasp around his wrists, she twisted his arms further. The body could only take so much before it really snapped. What would happen first? "I have to get back to Head Quarters, I've only been gone for several weeks watching that sword you just HAD to take.. Now, if you will kindly accept, I won't have to break your arms. Do it. Now. " Funny as it was,Alisa was not like this at all out of battle. She was kind, caring, but with a little spark in her that may come out at any time she was irritated. Though in battle, she became serious and focused, which also made her seem very unfriendly at times, especially with her enemies.
Kana meanwhile, watched the creepy blade's eye dart around randomly, this thing even managed to creep her out a little. "Hmm.." She began, reaching her hand sloooowly toward it, just before her finger tips even brushed against it, she pulled her hand back to her side. "Nice try!! Um, Okay...I know what to do! " "Artie! Come meet me, will you? There's a little situation I think you might be able to help with! " "Your in trouble now, Creepy-Eye!"

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!" "I'm guessing asking for an honorable battle is out of the question?" Cloud grunted out, his voice pained. That was kinda-sorta a joke. As she applied even more pressure to both his back and arms, he gasped, screaming out in pain again. This girl did NOT play around, did she? He felt sorry for whoever her lover was. "I... I can't take it!" He shouted in pain, and as she ordered him to obey, he... felt that might be a good idea, actually. "...F-fine! I'll do what you say! Anything! Just... have mercy! Please, mercy...!" Somehow, the pain she delivered to him was far worse than anything he had ever endured. He would rather take a thousand stabs from any sword than go through this!
Kana would feel her wrist grabbed as she reached towards the blade, and her lover was there beside her when she looked. He shook his head at her. "Bad Kana." He said playfully. "As much as I relish the idea of you becoming strong enough to overpower me with no trouble, let us hold off on that shall we?" Somehow, Artemis was still going with that joke they were making before/after going to the Realm of the Reapers. Turning now to the sword after letting her go, he looked at it intently, the holy end of his staff against the ground as usual as he stood there. "...I never thought I would be able to see it in this form." He said, implying he had some sort of history with this sword. Maybe in the future he came from. Turning now to Kana, he spoke, the blade seemed to be staring at the staff he was carrying. "This is Soul Edge, one of, if not THE most powerful blade ever created. After slaying enough life, it gained a mind of its own, one intent on draining and harvesting as many souls as it could. It feeds off souls, and thus becomes more powerful. However, the blade isn't complete--some parts are still missing..." He said, glancing back at the sword, whose eye hadn't moved. "As for destroying the blade, if that is your intent, there is little we can do I'm afraid." The blade then looked at Artemis, almost looking surprised. "It cannot be destroyed now, and there are a few reasons for that. None of which I feel like you would wish to hear." However, if she pressed the issue, he would tell her the most important reason at least. (( OoC: ))
