align=left] I am but a dragon. Searan sputtered for a moment, before lack of oxygen finally put him to sleep. His unconsciousness echoed the word, "Heartbreaker," over and over in his ears, reminding him ruthlessly of the plan that the demon had invented.

The demon smirked and left Searan to sleep in unconsciousness, phasing back through the door. He then walked down to outside Anya's door, wondering how to proceed.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream.  Anya stood by her window, elbows on the sill, staring down at the ground below the window. She couldn't see anybody, since it seemed everyone had gone back to bed. She sighed and closed her eyes, deciding, finally, what it was she was going to do about Searan.

The clone knocked on Anya's door, clearing his throat a little, ready to act. "Anya?" he asked through the door. "Anya, have you thought about things?" He waited for a response, wondering if she'd fall into his plan.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Each knock on the door was like a throb in her head, and Anya turned, staring at the doorknob. Slowly, she walked over, took hold of the brass knob, and pulling it open. She found herself face to face with Searan, and the sick feeling in her stomach increased. "Y-yes, I...I have," she said, looking down a bit.

Searan nodded some, rubbing his arm more, feinting nervousness. "A-And... What have you decided?" he asked, gulping a little. He was playing nervous, hoping Anya had fallen for the rouse and the little dragon.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya started to blush a little, and she clasped her hands, twisting her fingers around each other. "I...I, uh, I d-decided that...that...it wouldn't be s-so hard to, um, gi-give you a chance," she stammered, knowing she was acting even more nervous than the dragon was.

Searan smiled and gently took one of Anya's hands and kissed it sweetly. "Thank you Anya. I promise I will make you happy." he said softly.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya's blush deepened as Searan kissed her hand, and she ignored the feeling in her stomach again. She chalked it up to just butterflies, but it didn't feel like that, really. She guessed people just mis-described things when they explained the butterflies in the stomach thing.

Searan guided Anya out of her room and down the hall. Conveniently past the closet where the clone had Searan prisoner. "Please Anya. Let me treat you to a day on the town. Let me show you a good time." he said, looking to her. "I'll do anything you want."

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. "Alright," she agreed. What was the worst that could happen? It was just Searan. She smiled at him tentatively, ignoring the closet that they passed. She'd already almost forgotten why she'd wanted to go in. It wasn't important. Just a closet.

Searan smiled and took Anya to the town, giving her a great time. He bought her whatever she wanted to eat and a new skirt for her. He treated her to a nice little play and even a romantic evening under the setting sun. The clone smiled as he carried her back to the castle since she was tired. "I hope you had fun today."

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya didn't really respond, just tightened her grip on Searan, holding herself closer to the dragon. After a while, that nervous feeling in her stomach had numbed down, though it was never entirely gone. She decided that it was just because she'd never really had interaction around guys her own age.

Searan carried her up to her room and gently laid her in her bed, tucking her in. "Can I get you anything, Anya?" he asked, gently placing a hand on hers, waiting for a response. Seemed he'd be at her beckon call whenever she wished him near her.
