I simply stood there, watching them closely but not too much to seem obvious. I sighed then sat back down in a chair.

I went to the couch and I sat down, reading the newspaper. That's when I saw it. It was an article that showed a sword with a sheath, but strangely enough, it had some Zodiac symbols. I said, "Whoa. I just found a clue."

I sat there silently. This was their job not mine. I would stay out of everything and keep my mouth shut. Akira didn't need someone like me butting into his search.

I stared at the picture. I whispered, "I wielded this weapon before..."
That's when I noticed the date on the article. I smiled, "Two weeks from now? Interesting."
That's when I heard both me and Shinichi's stomachs growl.
I sighed, "Looks like we're hungry."

I stood up and nodded. "That I can help with. What would you like?" I asked with a small smile. I would do what I could to help them.

I stood a moment thinking. "Just about anything I guess." I answered. "And if we don't have it then I can make it I suppose." I said.

I sat down again. I sighed. I thought, 'Shin-kun thought of a good question, for once. I guess this quest will not only be to find my past, but to forge a new identity for myself as well.'
I said, "I'll have to face my biological parents. But I know I won't be alone."

I smiled at Akira. I said, "So, you've finally realized that you're not alone. That's a good first step in reclaiming not only your past, but reclaiming your identity." I thought, 'Kira-kun's made a lot of progress.'

I nodded a little and headed into the kitchen. I stood there a moment and started to pull out things to make terriyaki and rice. It would be easy and hopefully fulling. I sighed and glanced out the door at the two friends. This wasn't my place to step in.

I was in such a deep thought that when Akira spoke it startled me a bit. I looked at him and smiled. "No, that's all right. I can handle it." I said.
