Shadow threw up he Chaos Emereald and it disappeared back to Knuckles's shrine. He transformed back into a human and dug some device out of his pocket. He flipped it open and said," He went out to see a movie... and Knux went to browse a computer store."

Shadow shut the device again and slipped it back into a different pocket. Where is Amy? he thought and he grabbed a seat on the couch. He figured she would come any second running through the door and looking for Sonic. Unless... could Sonic have taken Amy to the movies? He stomac churned at the through of it.
A moment later, a Gengar appeared on Shadow's shoudler and looked over to him.
Shadow shook his head while saying, "Fine, you can stay out of your ball... but just this once."

He figured she would come any second running through the door and looking for Sonic. Unless... could Sonic have taken Amy to the movies? He stomac churned at the through of it. The Gengar looked around for any mirrors, ladders, or black cats. Once he found the bathroom, he giggled with pure delight.
Shadow yawned and said," As long as you stay clear of some common superstitions, you'll be fine."

Shadow looked back to Brian and asked, "What does that have to do with anything?" as Amy ran through the door.
Amy looked around and saw that neither Dark nor Sonic was there. With a heavy sigh she sayid, 'Hey guys..."
Shdow froze up and looked back out the window.

Shadow let out a sigh of releif, then looked down the hallway. He saw that Amy had just stepped under a ladder... and she ws being pulled down through the floor.
