I smiled, a little relieved. Now what...? We were either stuck here, or we could move away really slowly. I paused to wonder if his scale camouflage could change fast enough for that... but then again, if he had moved over here and the things hadn't noticed, he probably could. I motioned with my head that we should move, waiting for some sign that he understood.

I follow suit, padding along silently, trying to keep him between me and the beast as much as possible. We make it around the thing... And it still hasn't moved. You could tell that it was listening. It knew...

I stood very still, then carefully crept away. Then I carefully but quickly made a translucent force field around the four of us and beckoned for Knight to follow.

I couldn't help it, continuing to watch that thing. I sighed when Yoko put up the force field, but remained quiet in my movements. The thing didn't seem to notice. I blink, and then on an impulse, picked up a rock and tossed it at it.... The rock went through it. "That's not a good thing... is it?"

The image of the creature faded, and I found myself looking around, watching my surroundings. There was sounds of skittering brush here and there... But other than that, the forest was too quiet. "I've got a bad feeling... "

I heard it before I saw it. I mean.. who couldn't hear the crashing as it moved. When I caught the first glimpse of it, I felt my mouth go dry with fear. "I don't know about you... But I don't think I'm going to try and fight this thing..." I said softly, taking one small step backwards.

I look around, before looking at the thing. "... This is going to hurt.." I mutter to myself, magic building up first in my hands and feet, spreading to my core. When I release it, all four of us are transported at least a league away, in the direction of the village. Exhausted, I collapse to my knees, breathing hard.

I tried to nod, and failed. So instead, I sucked in a lot of air, trying to catch my breath and talk at the same time. "I've... Never jumped... with this many people..... Not easy..." I manage to say before I have to focus on just breathing. I close my eyes, allowing myself to sink to the leafy floor, though it was obvious I was still alive since my chest was heaving.

I stood there in awe then knelt beside her. There wasn't really anything we could do but let her rest.
