Black gave a small salute and smiled at her. "Yes ma'am, I'll get right to that. But one thing before I go, do you need any assistance with Mr. Cole? As I mentioned earlier, drunks are my specialty. The guards couldn't keep sober even if they tried, so I was usually the one left to clean up their messes and what not. I remember this one time, they we're celebrating the escape of a rather notorious inmate, Salazat or something. They all got wasted and painted the walls with vomit. Quite a nasty sight, but it made those halls sparkle like a diamond, if I do say so myself."

Phantom shook her head. "Nice of you to offer Black but I think that young man that brought him here will do more good on getting him to quite with the drinking." She sat on a bench and hunched over a little. "I have to tell you Black, keeping track of people you want dead is hard."

Mr. Black sat next to her on the bench and tried to cheer her up. "Lists ma'am. Lists always work good for me. I'm quite the list maker, and I could make you one to help you keep track of people." Eagerly he sat there, pen and paper in hand, and waited for a response.

Phantom chuckled and shook her head. "Not like that. Like where they are and such. I had Salazar, and then somehow he got out. Avarice keeps disappearing, and so does Jack the Ripper. If those three were gone, there would be no war."

" Oh, i think there would be." Riley answered, leaning against the doorway as she watched the pair.. seeming completely unaware of the fact that she was not wanted. " you creatures always find a way to fight about something.. if we were not here to distract you, i would hate to imagine what all would be happening."

Phantom stood up quickly and her fangs grew. "You could say less people would be dead and some people would be able to have lives." Phantom crossed her arms over her stomach and glared. "Like my grand daughter who came back from the future to stop your creature from killing her father and ruining their lives. That could have been avoided."

Riley just shrugged, saying calmly in responce. " And if you hadnt fell in love with my little brother, he would not have been tempted to kill the vampire to be with you. i would have been content to stay in the backgrounds so long as he was happy.." lifting her hand she placed it over her heart, looking to the side as if lost in thought. " Then again.. he was not happy then either. what would make him happy, i do not know.." it was the only thing besides Yuri and Dana that she cared about.. but she was haveing trouble remembering that. " He hurt my Dana."

"Dana is no longer my concern. She decided to completely side with him and cut all connections to me. Last time I checked she was happy to be with her father and be taking care of Yuri." It took Phantom a lot to not get angry for Riley talking about her daughter like she knew her. She knew more about her then Avarice did and she was a total daddy's girl. "Why are you here Riley?"

" A deal." only one thing mattered more than anything else.. " You will protect my Mim, and i will return Yuri to your care." she won in both matters.. she did not want Yuri in the middle of what was comeing.. and she had made sure, only Phantom and her bloodline could protect the girl. " My little brother is.. unstable. i will protect him as long as i can, and hope he snaps from this faulty obsession of his.. but i will not chance my blood-kin to his plots."

"Yuri is welcome here any time she wants, everyone knows that. She is my grand daughter, why would I turn a child away?" That alone made her mad. She could turn her daughter away, but that was because she had chosen that on her own, but not her grand daughter. "I already protect Mim, she is a friend, a sister, family."

" Then you are my family, so long as you hold that view." turning her head to the side she nodded, not halting her as Yuri flew into the room.. Suri and Luna on her heels. with a last, openly loveing look towards Yuri, she walked away.. only pauseing as the little girl fell still, her expression blank. " Yuri.. you remember nothing of Aunt Riley, or grandpa Avarice. Grandma Phantom is your guardian, she is your protector. be a good girl, baby.." a tear slipped down her cheek, but she was gone before either of them could see. she would protect them until the end.. but that end, was comeing faster than any of them thought.
It was only when Riley was off the grounds that Yuri blinked, grabbing Ana's hand as she said urgently.. her small frame shakeing. " Grandma.. i had a nightmare." there was no trace of hesitancy in her gaze.. her memories replaced so well they could never be fixed.

Phantom picked Yuri up and held her close. "Its okay baby, your nightmares can't hurt you." She started to hum to her to help her calm down as she rocked softly. "Tell me about it sweetie."

Haveing all the encouragment she needed, the little girl hid her face against Phantom's shoulder and explained her 'dream' with a childs fear. " a boogie man tried to grab me, an a wolf chased him away. he was really big, an he hit the wolf down. he tried ta grab me again but i woke up."

Phantom continued to rock and started to run her fingers through Yuri's hair. "Shh. Grandma will protect you from the boogie monster." She sat down putting Yuri on her lap but still holding her in her arms. "No one will hurt you as long as I live Yuri."
