Stephanie nodded. "Yeah, she asks lots of questions. Never lets anything go. She's constantly asking twenty questions about every single topic." She was smiling softly, wrapped up in Landon's arms.
"I'm sure it'll take some getting used to, but I mean..I hope she's excited. New daddy, ya know? It sounds exciting at least." She sighed. "She'll warm up to it baby." The blonde turned to get on her knees and look at Landon.
"We'll be fine, right? We'll make it..She's only three..adjustments aren't a huge deal.."" Lies. But they'd try. She pecked his lips. "I love you," She whispered softly, stroking her fingers down his cheek.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. When Katy got up, James stood as well, and turned the water off. It did give kind of a chill as things cooled down, and the water still ran cold.
He stepped out of the shower and shook his head like a dog, making his short, wet hair go a little crazy.
James found one of the few remianing towela nd dried off a little with it before wrapping it around his waist.
He followed Kaitlyn out, to see that she was already dressed.
"Hmm... I'm not sure what there's any point in putting on... It's getting late..." although how late it was, he wasn't entirely sure.
James went though his stuff and found a clean pair of a boxers. He put those on, and then spent more time rummaging, until he was fine with a pair of board shorts and a simple T.
No point in anything fancy right now, when he'd just be taking it off soon.
"Do you know what time it is, or what we should do now?" he asked Katy, when he was finished. ..And even when your hope is gone

"Yeah, I know... I'm just kind of afraid of the general question all little kids ask. 'Why?'"
Why is he my daddy and not James, or, why him, I don't even know him... or worse... Why now? Why didn't you want to see me before?
Those kind.
What could he say? Because your mommy didn't want to mess with my career and I didn't know...? Yeah no, that wouldn't fly.
One, she wouldn't understand, and two, he didn't want to keep bringing it up when he didn't mean too, because he could see Stephanie beating herself up for it every time.
Even if he was still a bit resentful of the fact. It was done and over with. He wished they could go back and change it, but wishing such things did nothing...
At hearing those last words though, Landon managed to smile a little.
"You know I never stopped loving you, no matter how many years went by... I think I was always looking for another Stephanie in the girls I dated, and that's why they were doomed to fail from the start." he tightened his arm around her a little.
Kaitlyn was special, different from the others, but... she wasn't Stephanie.
This girl here, in his arms now, was the one and only.****************************************    As soon as forever is through

"James... he was never you." She sighed, stroking his cheek gently. "He couldn't be. I think he always knew it too. Just by the way we were together. Happy, sure. But never in love."
Stephanie kissed his neck and yawned softly. "Its been one hell of a day.."

" Even if there is no point, I can always sleep in this." Typical not to change just to sleep. Kaitlyn continued to drink her pepsi, perfectly content.
But then James asked her something. "nope. I assume you find a clock for the time. As for what to do. I got nothing." She didn't think of anything to do because Landon said he had that covered, and everything he didn't cover, the hotel would. So since he isn't here and the hotel ended up being crazy, she had nothing to offer.
"I'm sure we can find something to do around the house. Like a movie or something. Simple but it's something to do and it's fun.
Finishing her drink, she placed it in the kitchen sink, turning around to see what he was going to say.
||Sorry for lack of umph in this one... I will say this post sucks, but it's all I got right now... Sorry||

Landon moved away from Stephanie, just barely. She sighed softly and bit on her bottom lip. "Yeah.."
Her mind was floating away. She was sleepy, and the jets felt so good, combined with the hot water surronding them. She was in heaven physically. Not to mention, the sun had finally set. Which casted a moonlight setting around them.
"Landon? Will we ever be like we used to be?" Her eyes didn't open, she hardly moved. Her voice was soft, almost scared. Like a child who had just spilled their cup on the kitchen floor.

Landon closed his eyes, as he relaxed in the jacuzzi, focusing in on the feeling of the hot water and the jets massaging his back.
He barely heard what Stephanie said, but then after taking a moment to process it, he opened his out, coming back to reality.
Landon shifted his arm just enough to pull her in closer and kissed her head.
"No. We wont. We'll be better, ok? Because now.... now we have Hayley."
And ya know what? It felt damn good to say WE, in mention his DAUGHTER'S name.
"I love you." Landon whispered, close to her ear, tilting his head to rest it gently on top of hers. They always did fit perfectly somehow, sitting or standing.
Landon's eyes closed again, and he finally realized how surprisingly sleepy he was. How long had they been in here already? They should probably get back to their room soon, and sleep... And tomorrow? Well, Landon awaited that with a mix of dread and anticipation.**************************************** As soon as forever is through

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James shrugged. She could sleep in whatever she wanted, clothes, no clothes... He wasn't going to be any more dressed than boxers when he got into bed. And despite the double beds, he had a feeling they just might be occupying one.
"Whatever works for you. You know I usually go with a limited sleeping clothes policy with myself" he said, grinning... Well, that was, until he started sleeping over at Stephanie's on occasion...
He kinda had to wear something when you could easily expect a little kid to come bouncing into the room early in the morning.
Anyway...
James thought about what they could possibly do for a moment, came up with nothing else,and so, nodded in agreement.
"A movie sounds good... do you think they have like, DVDs, or maybe, movie channels, or HBO?" ..And even when your hope is gone

Moments after she spoke, Landon was pulling her into him. She rested her body fully against him, fitting perfectly together.
"I love you too," Her face lit up. He was right, had to be. Hayley would now have both of her parents and they'd have each other.
Besides, this was only the start.
She yawned.
"Ready to head back up to the room? I'm sleepy," It had been a really long day. And she wasn't even sure how long they had been in the jacuzzi anyways.
Stephanie was already starting to fall asleep in his embrace.

Seemed like James hadn't changed all that much. Kaitlyn smiled at him and finished the pepsi. "I'm sure they have something if we looked for it. Jumping off of the counter, she went back to the living room and looked around the t.v. Still hesitant to be the one that turned it on, a lot of stuff was heard on that t.v. that broke her heart, and most likely James. But then again, they did something twice that wasn't really nice to others.
But that's beside the point, she looked around the tv and found a small cabinet full of movies. "Why don't you pick something to watch. And I will get other things ready." She called out to him before standing up and heading towards the bedroom, even though she just changed, she changed again. Just taking off her shirt and keeping her bottom tank top. And then grabbed the throw blanket and tossed it onto the couch.
Heading into the kitchen, she found some popcorn. And started to make that, getting water bottles ready as well. It wasn't long till she came back out with snacks and drinks, setting them onto the coffee table. Sitting down on the couch, bringing up her legs. In the back of her mind it felt like this was their place, and they were living together. It was a silly thought, but it made her heart skip a beat none the less.

Landon let a light smile take over his face as Stephanie returned his words.
After a minute or two, she suggested they go back to the room. Yes, he was starting to get a bit hot from the boiling jacuzzi waters.
"Yeah, we should. Plus ya know... the sooner we go to sleep, the sooner tomorrow comes..." and everything that detailed. The good, the bad, and the awkward.
Focus on the good or you'll never get to sleep tonight Landon, he told himself.
Anyway, Landon moved away and headed up the stairs. They didn't have any towels, but the cool air felt good on his now hot skin.
Stephanie would probably get cold faster though. And he would be her heater, just like he always had been before.**************************************** As soon as forever is through

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James went through the movies about to start on HBO, and finally picked one that sounded interesting, even though he hadn't seen it before. From the brief description it sounded like there was a lot of action, but romance as well. Perfect, right?
Once that was on, a commercial in between the last movie and this one, James stripped down to his boxers and bounced onto the bed on the right.
Kaitlyn came out just a minute or so after, right when the movie was opening up with snacks.
"Hey, why don't you join my on this bed, it's more comfy?" he offered with a sly smile. But hey, he simply wanted her near him during the movie, and the bed WAS more comfy then the couch.... even if it was also a fairly comfy couch. ..And even when your hope is gone
