kiana heard the door closing and the thump when katie collapsed and went to investigate. she raised her brows at emily then picked up the again unconscious cat girl and carried her back to the couch. 'we can tie her to my back if she hasnt woken by the time we leave. she'll probably be mad at me, but we really need to get out of here.' then she went to help kai pack supplies.

Kai glanced at Falcon as she came in, "..you know a car might be a bit more comfortable for her...I have mine and I already put a bag in there.." he suggested, unsure if the bird-girl would like the idea of being in such a confines place.

kiana smiled tightly. 'i wouldnt fit in any kind of normal car, and besides, cars are too conspicious, thwy have too many ways of being identified. besides if yours was to go missing, the neighbors would notice. besides, the weight isnt a problem, and im used to carrying heavy loads. i have a harness, and she'll be asleep the whole time.'

Lynn was awake. After she got a good listen to what seemed to be the Perkins girl, she closed her eyes. Her backup plan started in motion.

Kai half smiled, "I see your point...but it'd be odd to leave it while I go missing. It would be too noticeable though, I'll leave a message with one of them saying I got called back, then drop it at the warehouse that I have a motorcycle stored. That way I can keep up with you and nobody will think twice."

Emily fiddled with her knife. The whole day had been awful. She had pulled in people who weren't involved with her and now....., "And now we have someone tied down in the basement of Kai's house. Just tied in the basement of an ordinary joe", she thought.

((downstairs behind a closed door, i dont think you would have been able to hear us talking. we were talking in fairly normal tones, wo you could probably tell we were talking, but i dont think you could have umderstood it all. maybe a few snatches is all. but hey not my character, just a thought))

((Oh, no. She only heard what Emily and Katie were talking about in the basement. She didn't hear anything upstairs.))
Emily nodded her head. She had no idea what she was going to do, but she couldn't ditch them like her first plan. They were know involved in her problems, and that ment she couldn't leave them, unless things got to hairy.

Kai let his usual half smile take place, "Are you going to ride with me Miss?" he asked as he picked up the large pack full of food and easily hoisted it on his shoulder, smiling a bit more after a second. "Though if we do we'd have to get pretty close when I get my bike... unless you know how to ride one."

Emily smiled a little. "Yeah, I know how to ride a bike. I'll be fine", she replied. She wasn't uncomfortable with getting close to him on a bike, it ment if he betryed them, she could kill that much easier.

Kai half smiled, "That's good..you can take pick between the two that run then. I was still working on the others..guess that's the only thing I'll regret leaving. You two ready?" He tilted his head and glanced between Falcon and Miss.

Emily grimaced. She han't driven in over two years and she didn't have a licence since she ran off. "Oh well, perhaps I can borrow some leathers.....". Her thoughts trailed off, back to more important matters, well semi-important matters. Like, what kind of sandwich would she have later.

kiana had finished strapping herself into the complex tangle of the harness that she had unraveled from her bag. she nodded her readiness after she reattached the strap on her backpack to turn it into a waistpack.

Alright..we should be on your way then." he headed outside, flipping out his cell phone and texting a message as he walked to the drivers door and opened it as he was finishing the message.
