Sora sighed, dropping the bow and arrow. she felt that something inside was getting verry restless, stabbing away at Sora to come out. the tears came slowly as memories flashed before her. She ran out out of the training hall, and into the courtyard and towards the hotsprings."All I need to do is relax. Yeah..." She said, trying to shake the feeling away.

Baron sighed as he entered the training hall, slightly nervous, he sat down, and looked around to see who was training...

Miraculously having made his way by haphazard wandering rather than using his map, Bakuto enters the training hall, whistling a cheery tune. Two objects hung from his belt: A battered old long sword on his left hip that looked as though it was no longer usable; A heavy-headed solid metal hammer on his right hip, one of its faces worn through its previous use. He hoped to use the latter of these, but he hadn't any clue as to whether there was a room to accomodate his trade. Smiling, he looks around for anyone who might be able to point him in the right direction.

Kiater limps into the training hall, smiling, excited about seeing some people's powers. His cane shing in the sun, he just glossed((sp?)) it.
"Let's see what people can do." He said to himself.

naka strode in to the public hall for some weapons training, he practiced his dagger form and performed th oblivion seal, the symbol for his father's clan as well as a potentially dangerous weapon. it took him a few tries, a few swears, and a little pain but he finally perfected it with pride he thought of his father, and how life used to be before his travels. he sighed, but then thought of danny and ended up smiling. proud of his work he left towards the dorm hall.

After talking to the kid and helping him master his fire minuplation Naka decided to go off campus and find someone to hang out with. As Naka walked out of the training room he picked up his bags lit a cig and left. He threw his bags into his car and decided to go get something to eat.

Lena's eyes danced as she grinned full down at Taern. "Don't be such a sore loser Taern." At that moment, someone arrived. It appeared to be a messenger of some kind. Lena stood, reverting back to her cold self in a moments hesitation. "Miss Lena. I have a message for you." She took the message and then sent the Shadow Blade away from her. He bowed and walked away, trying not to look back at her.
Once he was gone, she moved to the wall and propped herself against it. She stared down at the missive. It was from the Elders. Taking a deep breath she opened it.
Lena,
There is some trouble. You are to return immediately for home. Your mother has requested your presence and leadership. She is at the moment unable to do so as she has become ill. You will return within 3 days time.
Lena fought back the pain that shot through her. She would have to leave Taern. She looked at him, fighting back her tears. "I... I'm being ordered to return... for a time..." Her hand that held the missive dropped limply to her side and the paper fluttered out of her hands and landed a few feet in frot of her on the ground. The hateful words seemed to glare from it.

He walked over to where Lena was, seeing how badly she felt about leaving. He felt something, but couldn't tell if it was the same way Lena felt, or if it was just him.
Still he felt like he should say something. He would've said she didn't have to go but it seemed far too serious a matter that she'd refuse in the first place. Then he thought about going with her but her people didn't seem like they liked outsiders. He figured it was better to just stay at Ria.
"I take it you have no choice in the matter. I guess this is the part where I wish you the best of luck and tell you to be careful but you don't need luck and being careful isn't something I've seen you do too well. You might want to start preparing. You've only got three days.

Lena blinked as though just realizing Taern was there. She swallowed, the shock starting to wear off. It seemed a bit cold with what he was saying. And yet she hadn't expected anything different from him. She blinked, forcing back tears. She wouldn't cry. She wouldn't. The denial stopped at her mind. A tear slid down her cheek and she wiped it away furiously. She didn't want to leave. She didn't want to leave Taern. She'd started to care for him. That admission put her back into shock. She cared for Taern. Her mind was in chaos. Her hands reached out and she heaved a deep breath as she latche donto Taern's hand. "I... I don't... I don't want leave you." She shook her head, looking down as another tear came. She tried to get ahold of herself, knowing that Taern would always choose the logical side of his mind. On the other hand, what she was doing now wasn't logical. This was pure emotion.

The moment Lena took hold of his hand, anything he was thinking was replaced by all of his memories. They came quick and furious, streaming through his head and screaming at him like a freight train that had gone out of control. None of them made sense but he managed to grab hold of and focus on one. He was apparently lying on his back. He could see, but couldn't move at all. Someone was hanging over him. A female. He could tell that much but her face was missing. He couldn't see that.
Reality hit him like a speeding 18-wheeler and he was back, Lena still grasping his hand. His feeling turned into a growing pain, and then a realization. For some reason, he didn't want Lena to leave either. His logic was kicking and screaming, trying to block him from figuring out why, but he was begging to fight it. Ever since he came to Ria, nothing had been logical, so why did it have to be now?
He pushed it aside and it was spelled out clearly for him. Taern was starting to fall for Lena. Maybe he hadn't realized it before because he was afraid of falling to far but even I, the author, cannot tell why.
His muscles resisted but he fought with all his might and moved. He managed to turn on his side, and get his arm around Lena. He grabbed her and held her. The feeling manged to comfort him, but he still had the thought of her leaving in his mind.

The moment, Taern's arms came around her, she stilled only for a breif second before collapsing against him. Her tears came faster as she buried her face against his neck. "I don't want to leave..." Her muffled denial was more of a sob. Her tears were silent yes but her body shook with the force of them. She knew she had to go though. They wouldn't accept Taern either. He was an outsider. No matter how much he was like her they wouldn't let him come with her. She also knew that the Shadow Blade that had been sent to her was waiting. Pulling her face from his neck, she looked up at him. "I have to go though. I'll come back.... I promise... If I had a choice... I'd stay." Her voice was a hoarse whisper.

Lena collapsed against him. It was quite obvious she didn't want to leave Ria. No matter how much she denied it, she was happy at Ria with Taern and she was not happy when with her own kind. Taern figured he could force his acceptance, but a more sentimental side stepped in and told him it wasn't the best thing to do.
She whispered a few line to him after she was done sobbing. He felt something in his chest tighten. In the back of his head, he was trying to deny his emotions but they had already taken control. There was nothing he could do about it for the time being.
To Lena's whispers, he responded "I know."Of course, he really didn't know but he had a basic idea.
"If you don't, I'll make sure to come and get you." He didn't know where that came from, but since he said it, he'd have to stick by it or risk losing his pride along with his honor.
He loosened his arms a little, not wanting to let Lena go, but not wanting to make things uncomfortable either. He didn't know what to d or say anymore. He knew he couldn't prevent it. If he even tried, he'd probably have to fight his way through a small army of, what sounded like, highly skilled men and women. So he just stood there, trying to make the best of it in his head, even thought that was really the illogical thing to do.

Kiater suddenly grined. "True love", he said under his breath. "I guess it still exists". With that, Kiater limped away smiling with his chin held up, thinking~They weren't lying, this school is dramatic, what's next?~ ((I spell really bad, sorry))

An urge unlike her came over Lena as she felt his arms loosen. She had to go now if she had any hope of leaving. It still meant the cahnce of seeing him in their room when she needed to pack. Her hands tightened around his neck in a panic. She didn't want to let him go. She knew that the Shadow Blade was going to get irritated soon.
Throwing all caution to the wind, she did the one thing she had always scorned. She hadn't known the feeling then since she had kept the feelings so wrapped up tight within her but now there was no going back. "I know Taern." Her heartbeat thudded in her ears. Then taking a deep breath, she rose up on her tiptoes and pressed a fleeting kiss against his lips. Before it could go any farther, she tore herself away and ran, leaving her weapons.
Outside the door, she panted softly, puling everything in her back in. She had to go pack. Now. Regaining her composure, she walked steadily toward the Shadow Blade. He bowed to her. "Meet me at the front of the school by sunset. I will be there and be ready to return." He bowed once again and left. Lena refused to look back, making certain to keep her emotions locked away. It would make it all the more painful. She had to get to the dorm room to pack. It was time for her to return home for the time being.

The kiss Lena gave him left him a little confused. Part of the reason was because he didn't even know what a kiss was, and the the other part was that he still felt like he had done it before.
In an instant, he cleared his mind. He needed to focus and make sure Lena made it out of Ria safely. He at least wanted that to happen. He grabbed his own gear and strapped up, then grabbed Lena's weapons, slinging them over one shoulder. He rushed out the front door of the training hall, and took a shortcut he'd learned to the boy's dormitory.
His mind was clear except for one thing. He was going to see Lena off, whether she, her people, or even himself liked it or not.
