Kairi "Oh right, silly me," Kairi said slapping her forehead again, "I totally forgot." The crimsonette was totally out of it, and was beginning to feel very embarrassed. Kairi was grateful that the brunette took her hand, lead her to her room, and sat her down on her bed. The red head set her glass of water down on her bedside table then looked up at Sora. Kairi smiled at Sora when he called her by her old nickname, Kai. She missed the old days. When the keyblade master suggested they take a look at the letter, the princess froze up. Even so, Kairi was able to reply in a quiet voice, "O-Okay..."

Ηικαŕι The cat watched as Sora departed for the exit of the school and down the street that would lead to Kairi's house. Smoothly jumping down from the tree, he followed him to the girl's house, watching the boy go into the girl's house and climbed up a telephone pole so he would be just out of sight of the window. Thankfully it was open, which made it all the more easier for the feline heartless to listen in, which allowed Hikari to hear what was going on all the way back from the school.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” "She's just a girl-" Riku was interupted by Sora's phone. It was Kairi. The silvernette tried to lean towards the phone to hear both sides of the conversation but the Keyblade Master pushed him back and they both tried to fight the other a bit. Riku just wanted to here! Finally he gave up and stood back and waited. Finally Sora hung up. The silvernette's face dropped when Sora told him about Kairi. Her real parents. Sora promised him more details and Riku agreed before the Kehblade master ran off.
Riku silently snuck back into the classroom and took his seat. He sat down and looked over at Hikari. She had a blank piece of papaer on her desk. That was odd. He leaned over towards her though and spoke. "I don't know why I didn't tell him about you. This whole problem could've been taken care of then," Riku hissed almost before pulling away. Why hadn't he told Sora?

Naminé Miss Memory Witch The petite blonde was actually paying attention in algebra, because she had nothing more to do. One moment, she'd been taking notes and then next, her pencil fell from her hand and onto her desk and her eyes were wide before she closed them. A whole bunch of feelings tore through her, raw, ragged and strong enough that she was unable to pull herself away. To detach herself from Kairi because that was who the feelings were coming from.
It took Naminé a few moments to regain her composure; to push Kairi's feelings away and keep them at bay though they threatened to drag her under again at any moment. Raising a hand, it didn't take long for the blonde to get called on. Naminé spoke quickly and quietly, lying smoothly and feigning the perfect amount of innocence and shame. "I'm sorry sir, but I completely forgot about this. I was suppose to leave five minutes ago. To help the yearbook commitee. I'm sorry for not having told you sooner but can I go?" The teacher gave his permission with a nod and a wave of his hand. Naminé hurriedly threw her things in her bag and quickly stood up then rushed out of the room. The blonde hurried down a few hallways before finding the library and she then hurried inside and sat down at a table far in the back. The librarian raised her brow but didn't comment otherwise.
It was there that Naminé opened her mind fully to Kairi and she winced as the emotions tore through her again. Pain, anger, confusion, more pain. Obviously, something was wrong. 'Kairi, what happened? Are you hurt? What's wrong?' Naminé spoke through their link, concern filling her thoughts.

Lakayna rolled her eyes at Axel and smiled, grabbing the supplies he put out for her. With her free hand, she wrapped her fingers around his wrist. Her skin was touching his skin, byut Lakayna didn't ralize it because her vision hadn't clouded over at all and she was looking at his face. "Come on," she said, and lead him back to the room. It didn't take long to get there and thankfully Lakayna had actually only been gone about five minutes, surprisingly. "Sorry for taking so long," she apoloigized, setting the mop, cleaner and bucket down by the desk, "Found someone who wasn't in class. He told me he was lost, so I led him back here." The teacher nodded, taking the supplies and proceding to clean up the mess without a word. The students however, behaved differently. Waves of murmurs began to stir across the room as Lakayna led Axel to the free seat in the back beside hers. She sat down, a small smirk on her face as her gold eyes met his once more.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora felt slightly guilty when Kairi looked sad again. Maybe they shouldn't jump right into it. Maybe it would be easier on her if they talked about something else first. But he was still holding on to the hope that it wasn't going to be as bad as they were making it out to be. He got up slowly and took the letter from Kairi's desk. He handed it to her, meeting her eyes. He softly smiled, giving a very small nod to encourage her. He sat next to her and waited for her to open it.
The brunette let out a sigh as he waited. He wondered again what it could possibly be. Maybe it wasn't from her parents; maybe it was a letter letting her know that her parents had died in the consumption of her homeworld when the Heartless took over. That would be sad, but since they'd never known them, then it wouldn't be so bad. Also, it might just be a friendly "how you doing" letter. He really couldn't think of how it could be terribly bad. "It's gonna be alright, I know it will," he told her. "No matter what it says, we'll still be friends, and I'll always be here for you." He felt like something was watching them, but he would look into that later. All that mattered right now was Kairi and that letter. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Ηικαŕι The girl was listening to the conversation between Sora and Kairi as Riku re-entered the classroom and sat down next to her. Hearing Riku complain that he should've told him about her, she gave him a side glance through her black sunglasses. "How so?" she whispered, not making any effort to lean towards him like he had with her.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” The silvernette sighed and leaned away, returning to his seat. "Because, knowing you were someone of the darkness...he wouldn't have hesitated to kill you. Problem solved," he chuckled softly at the end. He didn't know why that was a joke but it obviously was.

Ηικαŕι Hikari held back a small laugh herself, as if sharing the humor in his little joke. "I'd like to see him try," she challenged. Hikari had way too many tricks up her sleeve to let someone like Sora defeat her, even if he did manage to defeat nearly all of the Organization, including Xemnas himself.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” "Challenging him ultimately challenges me," Riku sighed at her stupidity. "And that's not smart." He and Sora made a great team when they weren't arguing with one another,

Ηικαŕι A look of amusement crossed her features. "I know a lot more than what I let on. I'm not as stupid as you would like to think," she said sagely, opening up her book and turning a page nonchalantly.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” "Is that so?" Riku scoffed softly at the silver-haired girl. He glanced over at her. How was it that he was almost completely comfortable with this girl now? She was of Darkness? But he was in a way too. It didn't make any sense. "Who are you?" he whispered. His voice was not demanding; he was sincerely asking for the answer.

Kairi Kairi took a deep breathe as Sora slowly got up and took the letter from her desk and handed it to her, which she took with trembling hands. Their eyes met and Sora smiled softly. He then gave the crimsonette a very small nod of encouragement. Kairi nodded back and the brunette sat down next to her on the bed, waiting for her to open the letter. Kairi stared down at the letter, mustering the courage to open it. Having Sora there really helped. Kairi was about to go for it when a very concerned sounding Naminé entered her mind. The red head closed her eyes and thought back to the petite blonde, "It's okay Naminé, I'm not hurt. During lunch one of the assistant principals told me that my foster parents had called the school to say that I needed to come home. I was really scared that something had happened to them, but they are both fine. However..." Kairi broke her thought, opened her eyes, and looked down at the letter in her quivering hands. She then continued her thought to Naminé finding it much easier to think then to talk out loud though it was still difficult, "I-I got a letter from my biological parents... I'm afraid of what it might say. Sora is here with me to help me get through this. I was just about to open it. I'll let you know what it says." Kairi was returning her focus to the letter when Sora spoke. He told her that he knew everything would be all right and that no matter what they'll still be friends and he'll always be there for her. The princess turned to the keybearer and smiled then hugged him. Fresh tears streamed down Kairi's face as she said, "You're right Sora. I over reacted I guess. Thank you so much for always knowing how to cheer me up, and for always being here for me." She let go of the brunette and said "Okay, lets get this over with already." The red head ripped open the envelope, her hands still shaking but not as badly now, and pulled out the letter. She unfolded it, and held it up so that both she and Sora could read it.

Ηικαŕι The tone in Riku's voice was the nicest she had heard from him since yesterday. The feeling of longing and lonliness pounded at her heart, begging her to tell him right then and there that she was his sister. She could sense the strange comfort as well; all of a sudden the tense atmosphere that was between them vanished. Hikari could picture in her mind the classroom fading away into blackness, with only she and Riku sitting side by side in their seats. But then another thought jerked her back into reality. If she told him now, he would only want more answers, which would likely mean another chase out of the school, something Hikari would rather avoid lest more attraction was to be brought upon her, not to mention her little cat-heartless was still listening in on Kairi and Sora's conversation just a few miles away. Hikari gave a hesitant sigh, looking down at her hands as they clenched into loose fists. "Someone you've known all your life," she answered simply. At that moment, the bell rang to signal the end of fourth period. Without another word, Hikari packed her book into her backpack and stood up, walking swiftly out of the classroom without looking back.
