I'm totally going to try that! Don't worry. If it doesn't work, I'll just add a splash of rum. It'll be great!

A splash of rum, huh? For flavor, or just because?

For flavor, of course! lol
Actually, the only mixed drinks I order are made with rum. I wouldn't want to drink it straight, but it adds beautiful flavor to fruit juice...or eggnog!

And really, who'd drink non-alcoholic eggnog anyways?

I stopped drinking alcohol totally for a while. No real reason. I just did. So I tried the non-alcoholic stuff they sell in cartons because I missed having eggnog at Christmas time. It made me want to gag. I dumped most of it down the drain. I blame it on the artificial rum flavoring. Yuck!

Nothing ever really beats the real thing. And that can be said of anything.

There is very profound truth in that.
Drogonball Z: Original vs. the live action movie, for example...

The same can be said of the street fighter franchise. video games way better than movies.

The same thing can usually be said for books made into movies! Not always, though. There are a few exceptions to that one.

True. Sadly, Golden Compass wasn't the exception. And I was hoping for so much good to come out of that.
And comic book movies are kinda touch and go.

Disclaimer: I have never read the Iron Man comics.
I really loved the Iron Man movie, though!

Neither have I, really. sweatdrop All I've read from Marvel are the civil war issues and a bulk of the world war hulk comics. No go with the rest of it. I did read some of Ms. Marvel, and the specials on the death of Captain America. Those were some of my favorites.

Oh, boy. I have to admit to my ignorance now! The only Civil War stuff I read was the Runaways/Young Avengers storyline. And the only comics I read on a regular basis is Runaways. I do love that one, though! sweatdrop

That's fine. The ones I mentioned are the only ones I've read ever! For some reason, I was never into comics much. But manga was instant for me!

Manga is easier for me because the first way I ever see it is in book format. I can't keep up with single issues of comics, and some of the series have been going on for so long that I can't possibly ever catch up. Plus, Japanese comics are more linear, whereas the Marvel Universe, for instance, has so many branches and alternate realities that it makes my head spin!
