Edith entered the infirmary with many thoughts weighing her attention, so much weight was there, that she ran into a bedside table. She came out of her trance and looked at the bed where Reno had been lying. Apparently he was already up and he was hopefully not getting himself into trouble. She sighed and took a seat on the unoccupied bed that had been Reno's.

Reno entered the imfermary and headed back to his room.He figured it would be the best place to start.When he walked in he saw Eden waiting there.Dead set on finally telling Eden how he felt he walked up to her.He sat on the bed infront of her."Hey...........Sorry I wasnt here when you came looking for me.I just had a heart to heart talk with your brother.He agreed not to rip my head off for what Im about to tell you.Eden..........I'm in love with you.Will told me that you had been hurt before.I didnt know what he ment then but now I do.You had your heart broken and thats why you ran off when I tried telling you how I felt.Eden...........I want you to know that I would never ........ever hurt you.I would fly around the world twice just to see you happy.I would die for you.I would quit the hunters to live a life of peace with you.Eden......I would do anything for you.I guess its kind of obviouse since I waited in a hotel lobby for seven days straight for you."He reached out and took her hand."Eden...........you dont have to be afraid to open your heart to somone again.It is not a sin to love."

Eden listened to Reno tell her exactly how much he loved her, what he would do for her, how he would never hurt her. Trusting someone was not that simple for her, however, Reno made her want to try again. There was something about him that drew her to him, made her want to trust him, love him, but her reasons for not opening up were not as simplistic as they may have seemed. She'd been hurt numerous times, but she had never hardened from the experience of being betrayed. She may have seemed tough on the exterior, stubborn, strong-willed, stout, but those were just the facade she used to hide how much of a baby she could be.
"Reno," she said with her eyes tearing up, "I love you as well. I know that you are true to your word and that you would never betray me... but-" Her eyes had been pinched tightly closed but they opened again as she cut the final words of her last sentence off. It was too hard for her to say even now, even now after it had been a year since it had happened.

Reno put his hand on her cheek."Your past.....somthing terrible.Eden........let me help you forget the pain in your past.Let me bring you joy to your future."He closed his eyes and leand forward and kissed her gentally on her lips.

Edith wanted so much to be with the one man who could make her forget all the terrible things that had happened in her past, but no one would ever be able to truly heal those scars, not even the man she loved most. As much as she wanted to remain with him, kiss him even more, she did not wish to burden him with her issues, he was much too good for her. He deserved someone so much better than her, why could he not see that?
With more tears, Edith forced herself to break away from Reno, severing his gentle kiss that made her lose her mind. "Reno," she said softly, "I can't... I'm sorry..." As opposed to running off and away, she chose to head to the bar, perhaps she could find some peace of mind there, or at least she could bring out a cigarette. If she was lucky, she would die of lung cancer and then Reno could discover someone else...

Reno looked at Eden as she ran off.His face filled with sadness."Why?Why cant she see that she can that There is no other woman for me?Why dose she act like I deserve better?Maybe I should tell her about my past."He followed her to the Hunter Bar.

After quickly driving into the Haven with the stolen car he took Eden from the car and rushed her to the imfermary.He took her to Gail out of breath."G-gail.....she was bit......by vampire."
Gail took Eden quickly."Ohh now! Oh no she's already deep inot changing into one.I have an antidote but it might be to late.But I'll do all I can!" She quickly retrived an antidote and injected it into Eden.

It had been too late for Eden, nothing could spare her from the fate she had set for herself. Her blood had gone cold long before they'd reached haven, her blood circulation slowing at a rapid rate until it barely flowed at all. The slowed flow of blood had immediately caused her to lose her rosy cheeks, no sign of life in them. Her eyes were fighting between their natural hazel color and a deep scarlet red that resembled the petals of a red rose. Right now, the colors were battling against one another, trying to wreak domination over the other.
Meanwhile her muscles convulged and her fangs steadily elongated. All this scared the living hell out of Eden more than it pained her. Why was she changing so fast? Usually normal people had an hour at least before they completely turned, but she had almost turned instantly. Blood red tears streamed down her now paled face, she knew that there was no going back on this mistake. This was one screw up that would haunt her the rest of her life.
As she was injected, there was a soft hiss that emitted from her. Eden covered her mouth in shock, she could not believe she had just hissed at Gail. "It's no use," she said hopelessly, "it's too late for me Gail." The crimson tears now flowed steadily down her cheeks, dribbling down on her lap. What would her brother say? Worse, what would her parents think when they saw her? She was screwed, screwed for life, hell she was not even really alive any longer...

There was a dark part of Eden's mind that told her, urged her to stop crying like a child. Since she completely agreed, she went along with what the darkness had said and silenced herself, ceasing her tears. "I need," she explained emotionlessly to Reno, "to go for a walk.... I'll be back sometime." Even her voice had changed a little, the confidence that was normally there was not. No stubborness, to put it simply, she seemed to have no will at all. "I'll be at the docks..."

Reno had fallen asleep after Gail injected Eden.He slowly woke up,he had been sitting next to Eden's bed."Huh?"He looked and saw she was gone.He rubbed his eyes when Gail came up to him."Uhh Gail were is Eden?"
Gail looked sad,she turned her head down."Reno.......I'm sorry.I couldnt stop her from changing...........S-she's a vampire now."Gail felt real bad for Reno seeing at how close the two were becoming.
Reno got up and brushed his hair back."Alright......so mind telling me were she went?"
Gail stood infront of him."WHY!? Why are you being so damn stubborn about Eden!?I know you love her but think! She's a vampire now! Im not even sure I was talking to the real Eden when she left!If you go after her she might..........."Gail threw her self onto to Reno and held him in a deep embrace.
Reno closed his eyes and slwoly pushed her off him."Gail..........Eden is lost.I have to find her.And if that meens staring down her vampire half.......then so be it.She's afraid.......she thinks no one cares for her.But I do.Whether she is a vampire or not.I love her."
Gail had a few tears coming from her eyes.She kept her head down as she spoke."She went to the docks........"
Reno wiped away some of her tears and smiled at her."Thank you Gail........I wont forget this."Reno ran from the imfermary and back to the garage were the car he had taken was.He quickly got in and took off to the docks.

She practically slammed through the doors of the infirmary, laying Lydia out on one of the examination tables. Gail rushed over to them while kerri and grabbed a towel from one of the counters, putting pressure on the bullet wound to try and control more of the bleeding. "What happened to her?." Gail said as she rushed over to the, practically shoving Kerrigan out of the way. In too much of a state of panic, she ran a bloody hand over her face, so shocked that the blood did not even entice her. "Some idiot from the Shadowstalkers tried to shoot me, but i dodged it, so it hit her instead!"
She seemed in an almost panic as she backed away, a feeling of guilt overwhelming her. This was all her fault...if sh ehad not dodged that bullet, then she would be the one on that examination table, not Lydia. Backing into a chair that lined the wall, she sat in a sort of stupor as Gail immediately got to work taking the bullet out.

"Baby...save my baby." Lydia gasped, tears steaming down her face from fear, not from pain. "Please, save my baby. Make sure that my baby is okay!" The psychic was freaking out in the worst possible way, her gaze darting all around the room as she struggled against Gail. "Save my baby!"
"Kerri, get over here! You're going to have to help me restrain Lydia!" Gail shouted, trying her best to keep the wounded woman on the table. "NOW, KERRI!"

Shaking her own slef pity from her, she nodded to Gail, rushing over to Lydia and grabbing ahold of her friend's shoulders, held her against the examination table with more force than one would have though possible from her. "Everything is gonna be ok Lydia, i promise. Im sorry all this happened to you, but im going to do whatever it takes to save it...you have to calm down." Still holding the huntress down by the shoulders for Gail, she stared down at her, hoping that she could catch and hold her gaze, her eyes full of concern for the huntress.

"My baby..." Lydia said, starting to sob and not meeting Kerrigan's gaze. "My baby, I want to save my baby." As the psychic began to sob and cry for true, Gail went about securing Lydia to the examination table so that she could not thrash around as she had before. "You have to stay still, Lydia, or else you'll put your baby in more distress. I know your upset, but you have to remain calm." Gail said, trying to aid Kerrigan in calming the wounded huntress.
Pressed against the table as she was, Lydia's ever growing stomach was very visable, pushing up her shirt just the smallest bit as her baby rested inside her. At about five months along, she was showing now, though not as much as most women would; the muscle around her stomach prevented the baby from making its mother grow too round. Lydia hoped that her baby was still alive. To carry it this far only to loose it...it was more than the expectant mother could bear. "Save my baby..."
