The young wolf would smile at the gift he;d given her.; THough.. he probably didn't mean for her to keep it. It would be easier to remember him by. Nuzzling him again, she would rest, enjoying the ride she was getting from his shoulder.
"Humans are weird sometimes, Momma says they're not good." She shook her head. "I think momma's wrong, he seems nice to me." Giving his cheek a small lick, she would look to Lexi again, "Momma wouldn't hurt me, i could move in front of him," She did have a good point..

"So wise for such a small pup." Lexi wags, giving a wolfish equivalent to a grin. "I used to beleive all wolves were good." She explains, now a little softer in tone. "Now I know thats not the case. I like to assume that they'll be good before bad, but I know there's some that aren't. Maybe we should treat humans that way...although, first, asume them to be dangerous. I don't know HOW they are...but they're supposed to be. "

"I learn. I'll be a good judge of.. humans or wolves or whatever." Smiling, she would lick his cheek again. "Sloane good wolf, he looks out for us." Giving a nod to her friend, Lexi, she would give a wolfish grin. Parting her maw for a small sigh, she would nod. "You're right though. Can't trust them too easily."

"Watch it with that Littlebit." He reaches up and rubs the pups ears as he walks. "It's cold out here. Don't want to freeze like that..." He jokes. He pauses to look around, reaching up to touch an mark carved high on the trunk of a tree. An old wayfinding mark he made when he first moved here. It's old looking now, the sap no longer bleeds from it and hasn't for some time, but it's still reasuring to be able to find those old marks. "Hell of a storm...hell of a day actually. I think I'll...skip writing about this one in my next letter..."
Lexi looks amused again, her tail swishing as she pulls up short to watch Bran examine the cuts high up the tree. It does sort of resemble that metal tooth he was using earlier. "Since when did he become a wolf, Keara?" She wags. "I think he's short a few legs and some fur. But you're right. You're very wise for a pup your age. Maybe you'll be an alpha female when you grow up!"

"Maybe!" She laughed slightly. "I wish I could be, no one would want me as an alpha. Father might let me take over the pack someday." Giving a small nod, she would look to the human. He called her littlebit, how cute. "Sloane is a good friend," She looked to Lexi with a wider smile, her eyes bright. "If I ever have a pack, I want him in it." She wondered how much farther the man lived, looking around, she wouldn't be able to reconise anything. She'd never seen the world before, after all.

"Why would they not want you as an alpha?" Lexi asks, turning a curious look on Keara. "I'm going to be an alpha someday." She says with pride, straightening and taking an alpha like pose, out of the gaze of Haku and Lera. "Maybe you too. And we'll have the strongest packs in the land."
Up ahead through the trees a small clearing is begining to come into view, the cleared plot of land where Bran's home sits quietly in the midst of the forrest. The smoke from the fire is all but gone, most likely half dampened by snow, and drifts of snow have been flung up against the sides of the structure, but here closer to the cabin, it definitely smells of the prolonged presense of man.

Kamali could almost feel that the storm had ended, his head lifting and eyes slitting open just enough so he could see. It /had/ ended. His tail uncurled and started to swish faintly, but then he sighed, putting his head back down.
He was being sulkjy, and of coarse, Haku wanted him to /stay/ in the /cave/ so thats what he was going to do, literly. At least until he got over himself.

The alpha came back and dropped a piece of the baby deer before the mint pup. "You all can leave now, just watch out for fallen trees and such," Moving out again, he would lick his lips. He took his little walk to the river, and used his old trick to get water. Shoveling the snow off the ice with his nose, he would sneeze. Pressing on the ice with his paw, he would crack the ice and lap at it. Mmmm.. water.
The young pup would yip and wag her tail. "Then our packs should be allies!" Seeing Bran's little house, she would hop off his shoulder. But the snow was a bit to tall and she fell into it. And the worst part was, she wasn't tall enough to see or get out!

Aeria lifted her head ever so slightly, careful not to disturb Gizmo. She watched the pack's alpha deposit some food near Kamali and suppressed a hungry whine. She and Gizmo still had to go on that hunt sometime.
Turning her attention back to the mint-green pup, she spoke to him in a hushed tone. Is the storm over, Kam?

Kam gave a discusted look to the meat, knowing his stomach could not handle it right now, and glanced up to Aeria when she'd spoken. "Yes, the storm is over.." his head tilted slightly, as he nosed the meat a bit toward her direction. "Would you like this? I am not very hungry.." he winced cause he could smell the blood on his nose.
He was thankful that Haku was being thoughtful.. but his emotions were like a raging sea inside of him, changing so drastically. He slowly pulled himself to limbs, stretching out.

The she-pup smiled slightly. Are you sure you don't want it? I might have a little bit... but I should wait for Gizmo, he might be hungry, too.
Aeria's gaze drifted to the den's entrance. So the storm was over. She was very happy about that, she hadn't liked being cooped up too well, though the company was pleasant.

Gizmo gave a small huff in his sleep, rolling over onto his back so that his four paws stuck up in the air, his pale belly revealed as his head lolled back against the floor of the den.
He had fallen asleep a while back, having grown bored of watching the goings on in the den and it appeared he was having some sort of good dream. His forepaws twitched slightly and he gave a muffled growl as he chased the dream furry around the forest.
His nose wrinkled slightly as he shifted again, rolling onto his side and letting out a deep sigh as he settled into a more peaceful sleep.

Kamali glanced to Gizmo and smiled a bit, then looked back to Aerie. "Im sure, you and Gizmo may have it. Spilt it between you.. He might not be up for a while yet.. I think I will fo outside for a bit, stretch my paws." He nodded a bit at her, waiting to see if she'd take the meat.

Aeria snickered at Gizmo. She stood up and walked to where the meat was and delicately picked it up in her mouth, bringing it back to where she and Gizmo were lying.
Thank you, Kamali. Have a nice walk. She smiled warmly at the other wolf.

Gizmo's nose twitched, and caught the scent of the meat and being the greedy little pup that he was, the roly-poly wolf opened his golden eyes and sat up.
Yawning wide, he turned to the female and nipped sleepily at her ears, peering at the food and licking his lips. It smelt so delicious!
Wagging his tail cheerfully he sniffed at the morsal curiously before turning his gaze up to Aeria. Hello. He said sheepishly, giving her a wolfish grin.
