Good point, but time doesn't make things flow. Change makes things flow. Does time control how fast the sea erodes the cliffs? Or control evolution of creatures?
You said does time control how 'fast' the sea erodes the cliff. Fast is a vague measurement of time. Speed cannot exist if time does not exist.
Time is the fourth dimension of our world. Change occurs within time, but time does not cause change. However, if there was no fourth dimension, then change (that takes place in the fourth dimension) would not occur. Instead, everything would be frozen in it's place, never to move.
Take a piece of graph paper. It has squares that contain measurements of width and length. If the width of that paper was eliminated, and thereby equal to zero, you would only be able to see a verticle line. If you can only see things along the verticle axis, then you can see no progression of the horizontal axis, nor can there be any. That is what it would be like to say time does not exist. If it did not exist, we would see no progression along its axis.
But to say that the fourth dimension doesn't exist would be just as complicated as saying length or width did not exist. It is very hard to understand, and is too trivial to pursue knowledge on the subject.
