Heron's head halts it's forward lurch abruptly, and his eyes flutter open as reality sets in. He wondered if it could actually be possible that she either: didn't feel the passion in that moment, doesn't feel the same way about him as he does about her, or that she actually doesn't know what physical affection is. Feeling quite a bit disappointed, he forces a smile when she asks her question and slowly leans back into his seat. For now he would be happy having his hands held by hers. "I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm a sorcerer. My sister and I both have natural elemental affinities. So I suppose you could say I am a hydromancer in training, and she is an aeromancer. We can still do some other forms of magic, but when it comes to bending water and wind to our will it is second nature. As far as that nut with the ring, I felt a very dangerous and malevolent form of the weave emanating from him. He's probably been taught by someone with very little regard for the natural order of things."He smiles brightly at her, a grand idea having just popped into his head. "Let me show you something." He pulls his hands away from hers and cups them together. He concentrates on the inside of his hands, chanting quietly. He can feel the air around his hands become cooler, which is good. After about 30 seconds of chanting he pulls one hand away and shows the other to her. Nestled on the inside of his palm is a small rose made from ice, roughly the size of a chickens egg. It is surrounded by frost lining the rest of his hand. He looks up at her and smiles warmly to her. "It will only last about as long as it doesn't melt, but I want you to have this. In loo of an actual rose." He holds it out for her to take from his hand.

She watches him as he chants softly, having an interest to what he had in mind. Cyrillia had a sort of love and interest in the natural elements and had never seen anything like what she was now watching. It made her really happy to be able to watch such beautiful magic being used instead of the same magics she herself had witnessed a lot through her traveling. She was merely a healer, the only difference between herself and others were her method. She used the forces of Earth instead of known element white magic. She called forth power from the Earth itself and even though it was a miracle to use, she had never seen it from the other side until now.
Cyrillia held her breath as Heron presented a iced rose, she had never in her life seen such beauty and such talent. "My!" she finally whispered, gently taking to rose into her hands and looking down to the cold object. "It's beautiful, Heron." she smiled up to him. "Thank you so very much." she bowed her head over her hands, feeling extremely happy and cheerful. "I truly love it. I will always treasure it I promise." she added excitedly. She brought her gaze back up to him and smiled widely, "Where did you learn to do this? Was it here? Or have you always known to do it?" she asked, curious.

Heron beams back to her, very pleased that she liked his little gift. He thinks about her question for a moment and then answers, "I've always had a bond with water. As long as I've been in training when I was a child. About five years ago I learned I also had control over the other two states of water. Now, from the training I've received from Kae'drynn, I've been able to refine my skills some. I couldn't be any more grateful to her for accepting Naelonni and I as her students."He looks into Cyrillia's eyes and smiles, "Especially since it's given me the opportunity to make your acquaintance."

She looked up to him with smiling eyes and laughed with delight and happiness, "I am also grateful to have met your acquaintance, Heron." she replied politely. "You're the first person I ever knew to be kind towards me. That I truly appreciate." she sighed contently and thought over what he had told her about his gift. She only hoped that she might be of some use here as she was no where else. Whether or not her talent improved or not while there wasn't even irrelevant at that moment. What really mattered to her was to help those who needed it and bring back the peace the country had lost.
Cyrillia looked to Heron and lightly pulled at one of the few golden pieces of hair that normally rested along side her face in front of her small pointed ears. "Will I be of help here, Heron? Will I be able to do something to help?" she wanted to know if she were going the right way. Though normally she tried to avoid doubting herself or her choices but since the lost of her family and her home she couldn't help but doubt what little she did know.

Heron chuckles, "I don't think you have to worry about that. Your hearts in the right place. As long as Kae'drynn accepts you, and you are willing to do the work, you'll find that what you could do before will pale in comparison to what you will do after a little teaching."Heron yawns and blinks a few times, then forces his head back up. He laughs nervously, "Plus if you have any little negative quirks she'll be sure to set you right."

Cyrillia tilted his head, "Negative.. quirks?" she repeated, having not heard of such a term where she was from she asked, "What's wrong with a negative quirk?" she was curious to the terms that Heron used, all of the new phrases simply fascinated her since she had been raised to be one of the more traditional and proper mannered children within her village.
"Is it not allowed within here?" she now asked, leaning forward, wanting to know more about this negative quirks he spoke of. "Do you have some? What about your sister? Or Ms. Aerith?"

Heron can't help but laugh, "Well, I can't speak for Aerith. Naelonni and I on the other hand are very much like our elements. Naelonni's attention tends to go wherever the wind takes her. Likewise, if I stay at rest for too long I become completely still. That is to say, I fall asleep very easily."He scratches his head and laughs nervously, "In fact, on the first day we met with the Kae'drynn, I fell asleep while attempting to answer a question she had asked me. Needless to say she was not amused. I've been trying to correct that as best as possible since then."

"Oh!" she smiled. "I see. Do you often get into trouble Heron?" she now asked him, sensing that he might be the type but not certain. She, herself, had never been that way but of course being raised as she was really didn't improve her adventurous spirit. "And what about your sister?" she added, after a moment. "Does she get into trouble with you?"

"Heh, Not as much as we used to. Once we made it a point to look after each other, we improved quite a bit. Which in all honesty isn't saying much." He looks around the library, remembering the week it took them to re-organize the place. "When we're separated, it's very easy for us to fall victim to our faults. When we decided to work this library on opposite wings, it took us almost three times as long to complete the task. Kae'drynn is trying to break us of our dependency. I can understand why she wants us to be independent, but it's hard for us. The most time we ever spent away from each other at home was while we were sleeping." His eyes wander, a hint of pain evident in his tone. "I haven't seen her since yesterday morning, and it feels wrong."

___Finally outside of the tavern, Azen could go and catch up with his friend Talise, whom went to the back of the building through another door. "Finally." The tank thought to himself, sighing in relief as he hurried to close the door. However, his relief was cut short at the sight of the many soldiers outside. Azen damned them, but quickly realized they weren't quite focused on what was going on. Having no idea on what the situation was, the dark knight still took the opportunity to grab a confused horse and mount it. His large sword on his shoulder, Asgard hurried to the back of the tavern, hoping to catch up with the paladins heading there. ((Man, for the time I took to reply, this post is sadly short. I'll reply sooner next time. Sorry everyone. .__.))

She frowned, "Might something have happened to her than, Heron?" she asked, concerned to see the boy as he was. "I do pray not. Why would she not be back by now?" she brought her hand up to her mouth a moment and looked about the library. "Maybe we could go searching for her?" she now smiled to him reassuring. "Surely, she will not be hard to find, right?" she wanted nothing more to alleviate the worry from him just a bit if not completely. He looked so worried and said and it pained Cyrillia so much to see him in the mess he was in, she decided at that moment to stop at nothing to find his sister.
Finally, without getting an answer from Heron, Cyrillia stood up, with a new found inspiration and determination, and grabbed Heron's hand and helped him up, "Let's do our best to find her!" she felt so much excitement rushing through her that she didn't even ask where he last saw his sister.

"Hurk!" That is the only thing Heron can say as he is yanked out of his seat by the excitable young maiden. It takes a moment for the surprise to wear off for him to realize why she is acting this way. "Whoa now, I didn't mean that she was hurt or anything. Right now she is probably having private sessions with Kae'drynn. She alternates with us so she can concentrate her lessons on our particular elements. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you. I was just saying that after spending so much time close to each other it feels strange to spend so much time apart."

Cyrillia stared blankly at him for a moment, she didn't say anything nor did she turn her gaze away from him. Her features holding a somewhat puzzled expression, she frowned a bit now and closed her eyes as if pondering something for a moment. A few minutes had passed before her eyes finally opened, "Oh!" she smiled. "I'm so glad nothing bad happened to her." she now told him, releasing his hand from her grip. "When will you be able to see her again, Heron?" she tilted her head now, her smile had passed over her quickly and now once more a puzzled expression returned to her face.

Heron shakes his head and shrugs, "I can't really say. I've learned not to question Kae'drynn's methods. She has her reasons for doing things the way she does."He felt terrible for making her perfect smile fade away. Memories fade in of when Naelonni used to be down. If there was one thing that Heron could count on without fail was that no matter how depressed his sister got, he could always make her smile by gently prodding her in the stomach. She would try to fight smiling and giggling, but could never do it. She was just too damn ticklish. Heron decides to go for a gamble. He walks a little closer to Cyrillia and leans his head down while looking up at her. His cyan hair falls gently along his face as he smiles mischievously. "Hey now, no need for sad faces to mar such beauty. I'll bet there's a smile in there waiting to come out. Maybe it's hiding here." He gently pokes her left abdomen and wiggles his finger. He prays that he can get her to laugh, or at the very least smile.

Cyrillia was taken back by his poke and giggled, "I'm sorry." she smiled, her cheeks growing a faint red almost staining her entire face. She had never been poked by anyone especially by the opposite sex and so she felt her stomach do a weird flip that she wasn't familiar with, her nerves kicked in and she began to laugh, an impulse almost that she had never once felt.
"Heron..." she laughed stepping back however caught the hem of her dress from the back and fell backwards though as she began to fall back she grabbed on to Heron's arm and hoped that he could keep her from being clumsy or they'd both fall.
