((Oh damn. This will not turn out well... will not turn out well... I can think of a solution, but it will not turn out well....))
Kate glanced at Aurelio, and tears were in her eyes, but there was simply no way she could help him. "I- I'm sorry, Aurelio," she mumbled. At least she had remembered his name.
Kate turned and began walking back towards her car. Her limbs felt numb as she felt the stare she knew was penetrating her back.
It was funny to note, however, that Kate never seemed to mind tolerating that ridiculous outfit that Sheo wore constantly.

The guards and Travis cocked their guns as they aimed simultaneously at Aurelio.

Aurelio pulled out his stun gun, and shot at the seven gunmen who weren't Travis.

The rev of Kate's Humvee could be heard, then the vehicle slowly drove away, the sound of its powerful engine falling away slowly in the distance... then a roar.
The car came back, very quickly, at top speed, and spun into a huge, moving donut as soon as it hit the grass of the park. Three or four of the eight men (whichever were on the opposite side of Aurelio as Travis was) were run over, and the car skidded to a stop between Aurelio and the gunmen, including Travis. Kate was ducked down low, to avoid gunfire from the windows, and her backseat door was already open.
Kate could shout for Aurelio to jump in, but that would be redundant.
((I don't think a techie, no matter how computer-savvy and technokinetic he is, can take down seven men before at least one of them can shoot him. A little far-fetched there.))

Without looking back to see if any of his shots hit, Aurelio jumped into the humvee.
"I would ask that you not drive like a lunatic, but I can see we don't have a choice."

The Humvee was not bulletproof, and windows shattered while the doors and hood took damage. The car was already moving before Aurelio was even inside, but Kate was mad as hell.
She fluently spoke off curses in several languages, none of them nor the threats accompanying them for the faint of heart, but it seemed as if Sheo was in control, though. Kate might not have risked the safety of her car even for her grandmother's life.
"Kate will kill me - herself - once this is over," Sheo muttered, confirming her identity as the bullet-riddled vehicle spun off.
This is all assuming that the other two passengers had either stayed inside the car or had jumped in at the opportune moment, because Sheo was not turning around.
Away they sped, with Zero in the very back.

"I have quite the moral dilema. Since Trav's eyes are computers, would I be able to shut them down, if only long enough for us to escape? And, if I can, should I?"

Sheo cursed again and snarled. "Don't worry about doing any permanent damage - I'm going to kill that b*****d with my bare hands soon enough!"
The car hopped over a curve and onto the feeder road to the highway.

 Lulu was confused, but she stayed in the car. She shapeshifted into a rabbit so it would be harder to her.
