Violet nodded and watched him work. even though she had felt to need to show off since their exchange about healing Tora, she knew nothing about cooking, so she had to stand there and watched. This irked her.

Tora stared at the dead animal. There was nothing natural about Tora. He bit the back of the deer's neck and started dragging it back to the others.

"Wait!" Ambersky said throwing his now bled and gutted deer, over a shoulder and wing. "You have to gut it or the meat will go sour."
Mit grinned as the soup thickened, "I love packed spices and dehydrated milk..."

Tora dropped the deer carcass. He backed away from it and waited for Ambersky to do the honors.

Violet made a bit of a face. Dehydrated milk sounded disgusting, and unnatural. Anything unnatural didn't sit well with her.

Mit grinned at Violet's face, and added, "It's too bad you can't travel with the real stuff, Spoils too quickly. But this stuff, can be a god send to an experienced traveler like me."
Ambersky blinked at Tora, "You don't like gutting your prey?"

Mit snorted a laugh, and went back to twirling one finger. It stirred the soup, and kept the bottom from burning.
Ambersky put down hid deer, shrugging his wings and bit into the second deer's neck. He drained the blood quickly, and sliced open the belly. This time he threw the intestine into the brush. It was better to give the forest something in return for it's gifts. He then threw it over one shoulder and offered the already cleaned out one to Tora.

Tora lifted up the other deer and started dragging it back to the others again.

Violet sat down on the opposite side of the fire from Mit and glanced towards where Ambersky and Tora had took off in. She wondered when they would be back.

Ambersky trotted back into the rocky clearing, his deer slung across his wings and shoulders, "Lady Violet! We got two Stags!" He grind and his placed the deer before Mit, still mistaking it for a Stag, "Though they are both fairly small for the points they have..."
Mit looked over the animal quickly using his little knife from earlier to start skinning the animal, "I'll need you to remove the head and hooves, Sky."

Tora was right next to Ambersky. He dropped the deer next to Mit and moved away.

Violet looked at the two fallen animals and bowed her head, like she was paying respect to them. She understood that the others needed to eat, si she wouldn't begrudge them, but she still found it sad.

Ambersky stopped puffing up his chest and chomped off the requested objects, throwing them over the side of the cliff. Mit worked on skinning just enough of the deer's hide off for Ambersky to get his claws under it. He then stood back as the gryphon ripped off the skins from both. They worked together afterward to cut up and cube the meat, adding it to the container.
