Cora caught up to him and walked next to him in silence. She wouldn't know what to say even if she could say anything...but she hoped her company was enough.

Jr. stops walking, looking at the water. "....thanks Cora..sorry for ....whatever I said..." He hates how he couldn't say what he was really thinking.

She hugged him back, then picked up a stone and skipped it across the water. She found one for him and held it out to him.

Jr. took it, taking careful am and skipping it. It skipped twice before falling into the water. "You went farther then me Cora." He grins.

Jr. took the stone, skipping it across the surface. "Hey Cora, remeber the first time Dad made us breakfast?"

She nodded and picked up another stone. She sent it across the water for a couple of skips.

Cora stood up next to him and pranced off in the direction that they had come from. She stopped and looked back over her shoulder to see if he was coming.
