Shift laughed, "You should have heard what was going on in his mind, "Mommy! Mommy! No, don't leave me! I'll be a good boy~" he wrung his hands, his voice that of a sobbing child, "Please wake up Mommy~!" Shift laughed, his voice still Kanda's when he was a boy. "I did it because I felt like it, should I have any other reason?"

Allen Glared up at the man. "Shut up! You killed him you b*****d! Stop mocking him!"
He gently laid the body on the concrete before standing up. The urge to kill was growing... There was too much blood around him...
And he was about to let go. He had found an outlet.
Shift.
His eyes narrowed to slits and he clenched his fists. "You... Killed him because you /wanted/ too?" He snarled and expanded his wings to their full wingspan.

"Yeah, I did" Shift's face twisted in anger as well, "And I'll keep going until this world finally comes to an end. Do you know what happens when a Nitemare Dies, Allen? Well... Neither do I, as none of us have ever died yet... But, I'll make an exception for you, my little sweetling, I'll let you join your little "Kanda" in death!" With those snarled words his body exploded in size, until the rotting corpse of what looked like a giant wolf appeared, on it's back a bloody set of skeletal wings, before he threw his head up screaming, "I hate him! How dare he escape from me! How dare he!" He swung his head back down, the fire that had replaced his eyes seeming to focus on Allen, his voice suddenly quiet and controlled, "And I'll kill you too..."

Now...to give Shift a piece of my mind...D<))
Jin had been completely still and silent throughout the arguing two so far, not even responding to the mention of Kanda's name. Instead, she just sat there, hair still covering her eyes as her arms lay at her sides perfectly, giving her the image of a porcelain doll that rest upon a shelf. She hadn't even heard Allen answer her question, no...she'd slipped away from the cruel reality of it all and shut her mind down, body with nothing left to guide it. Soon, however, she tilted her head slightly as a certain word from Allen's lips clicked in her silent mind. Her hair continued to cover her eyes, lips parting slightly as her voice floated out.
"Killed...Kanda...? Kanda...Kanda...Killed..." She muttered, much like a confused child as her head rolled back slightly. She had moved her head in the direction of Allen standing and ready to attack, a lifeless form barely even a foot away from him.
"Kanda..." It was hard to tell if she was looking at Kanda's corpse due to the fact that her eyes could not be seen, but her voice held a sad recognition in it. Jin was silent, if only a second more, but the air around her suddenly became darker...much more dangerous and menacing than the broken aura that had been there a mere second before. She dipped her head forward once more, her pose easily mistaken for her crying if one could not feel the shift of her aura. A deep and chilling growl sliced through the air, having torn its way from the teen's throat as she stood slowly, everything about her becoming much more darkened. It was as if the girl slowly turning to face both Shift and Allen was a completely different being, but no...no, no, no...Kanda's death had shattered her, that was clear enough, but Shift had made a huge mistake in showing up that he was going to pay dearly for...he had brought out the beast in Jin, all of her hatred and rage, pent up for years, were finally showing. It was a side Jin had always preferred to hide, but no, not now...not as she walked towards the one who murdered her mentor and friend, her step that of a predator.
"So..." She hissed out, her voice cold and that of a low growl, eyes still hidden away as waves of malice began to emit from her rather dainty form, "it was you..." Jin finally lifted her head enough that one of her eyes could be seen from beneath blue strands of hair, the glare it was firmly locked in enough to perhaps even force the Earl to back off and retreat. She lifted her head higher, little white lightning sparks beginning to dance along her body while she stopped walking, standing firmly between the two nightmares, her back to Allen while she focused all of her negative energy upon the beast before her.
"Back up, Allen. Take Kanda and get Chloe and Esme to a safe distance. If you don't, you'll be dragged in and killed...I am no longer merciful, and if any harm comes to my Sensei's body, I will kill you painfully. Now go." Jin ordered, her voice dangerously low and clearly pissed...she'd lash out if he dared to argue. She stared right into Shifts eyes, defiant while she cracked her shoulders slightly...Jin was truly giving off a menacing feeling, perhaps even more so than Kanda could on one of his 'best' days.

"Jin... Don't even try to push me aside like that... Do you realize the danger you'd be putting Esme and Chloe into?" He growled and stepped forward, flexing his clawed hands. "The urge to kill had risen... And I can not resist it any longer."
His eyes jumped back to Shift, the pupils in his eyes turning to slits as the claws grow longer and more deadly.
"Shift... You're sadly mistaken... You will be the one erased from this Nightmare!"
With the shift of his feet he lept into the air, expanding their wings as a slight humming wind rushed through the street filling it with sound, changing pitch every so often.

She allowed Allen to take his charge at Shift, a small smile tugging at her lips. So this was the person he had chosen...
"As you wish, Allen." She said, knowing that he was probably too worked up to really hear her. At first Jin was just going to force Allen to back down, but she let him do what he wanted after thinking about it for a moment. She would strike during an opening while Shift was distracted, she didn't care if Allen accidentally struck her in the process. The nightmare was going to pay for what he had dared to do, and Jin knew that two fighters here were better than one...as pissed as she was, she didn't ignore the facts:
Jin was much more fragile built, and had many weak points, even with her ability to defend herself well she could easily be killed. Not only that, but Yuukan was still sealed, the minimal power she could control at the moment probably wouldn't do much.
"But, if you're going to fight, I'm fighting with you..." Jin held her hand out, a glowing feather within her palm as the energy dancing about her began to collect there. There wasn't much she could do, but with Kanda gone, her being his student, she knew she had to protect Allen the best she could. She wasn't as good a fighter as the man she looked up to, but she still had quite a few tricks up her sleeve, that being clear as some sort of weapon formed quickly within her hands.

"So Lovely to know that I'm so Loved~" Shift sighed, a touch of seeming gratitude in his voice as the giant dog sat on its haunches. It seemed thought that the Nitemare had calmed down, regaining control over his emotions. He observed the two with gleeful eyes, his lips curving up into an unpleasant smirk. He watched, unfazed as the two got ready for battle. "Do you think you can kill me?" he inquired innocently, "Something that is already dead? What is there for you to kill, I wonder? But a shell of what was a man..." He voice trailed off mockingly with a sigh before he righted himself, not bothering to make the first mood.
The fog behind him thickened.

Allen hovered in the air, nodding to Jin before laughing back down at Shift. "And you expected to kill /me?/" His laugh subsided as he began to sing softly, the wind around him picking up for an attack of razor sound waves.
"You made me like this... Never forget that...
I will be your downfall"
He sung it in a haunting tune
"Memories collide, oh how I wished us to be free...
But then you came.
And snuffed the flame.
And with it our our hopes.
I will never forgive you!"
The wind picked up and swirled quickly around, before sending a tornado of sharp sound waves at the other.

Jin couldn't made a direct attack, lest she herself get injured and overwhelm Allen with the smell of her blood, but she knew what she could do...
With the hand that wasn't holding the still-forming weapon, she threw open at Shift, activating Yuukan's ability of gravity so it would slam down upon the beast and keep him in place, glaring at him still as she spoke out.
"The reason my teacher managed to escape from you...was because you were far too WEAK to hold him back!" She snapped.

Esme watched with hostile eyes before she silently picked up Chloes body and jumped up activating her innocence to take her to one of the almost near-by buldings. It was up to her to save Chloe but she looked down at her hands..She never could save anyone..not her comrads..not even her memories.
