A chill ran up his arm. "It's cold..." He said quietly. He awkwardly pulled his hand back. "There's a fireplace at the inn if you'd like to warm up... I know where to go."

"That sounds pleasant," Lucinda said, letting her hand drop as well. "Lead the way."

Renatus nodded, then turned down the road pointing, "This way..." He walked slowly, breathing another spark filled breath into his hands.

"Alright," Lucinda replied and began to walk that way. She saw something strange in his breath when she passed him, but didn't think much of it.

After some walking, they reached the snowfell inn. Renatus looked up at the sign hanging over the doorway. His heavy breath raising up passed it. "Here we are..." he opened the door and held it open for Lucinda. "After you." A snowflake fell on his nose, and made him sneeze, as Renatus sneezed, a small jet of flames shot from his mouth. He covered it quickly blushing, "Erm... Sorry you had to see that."

Lucinda jumped back a bit when the flames suddenly jumped out. "What was that?" she asked, slowly.

"Ermm... Ill explain in private. Can we just go in?" Renatus said blushing, Gesturing Lucinda into the inn. "I can pay for your room if you want..."

"I don't want to impose upon you," Lucinda said. "And I have money for myself."

"Oh... Ok. Thank you..." He entered the inn and walked to the counter, nearly silently purchasing a room for the night. He then walked to the fireplace, and naturally warmed his hands, as well as the rest of him.

Lucinda did the same thing at the counter. Then she followed him over to the fire place. She sat down on a chair near it.

Renatus sat silently for a minute, gazing into the fire. His glassy violet eyes slid over to Lucinda. "Do I look human?" he said quietly.

"Your right. I'm most definitely not human." He turned his head towards her with a solemn look on his face. "I wont show it here. What hotel room do you have? Ill meet you there in a few minutes."

"Uh..." Lucinda said, looking down at the key in her hand. A man she had just met wants to know what hotel she was in... That was a little strange.
