Hal flew through the skies over Europe. There was a great deal of Lantern activity coming from a place called Latveria, and Hal decided that it would be best to investigate there.

Carlie watched with amazement as Godzilla seemed to be calmed down by the Blue Lantern... and then, maybe due to the telepathic conversation with her, Godzilla... began to leave.
She blinked, and looked over to see her dad. "Hey, Daddy," she said with a wave. "Everything's... okay here, I think. How's things on your end?"

Hal finally made it to the scene, and tried to take everything in. His attention was quickly turned towards his daughter though.
"Carlie?" he blinked.

Hal blinked again, then shook his head. "N-nothing. Last I knew you were...somewhere else." he replied. He wasn't as prepared for this as he thought he'd been.

 Dr. Doom flew over toward Carlie and Hal Jordan and greeted them, "It appears that I have two more Green Lanterns to welcome to my land. I am Victor von Doom, ruler of these lands. I am thankful for your compatriots' aid in dealing with the creature without any loss of life. I could not help but over hearing the last of your conversation; what is this 'Sanctum' place that you are referring to, if I may ask? Are you planning to use this place to prepare for battle against Nekron's forces? We had been using Doomstaat for the meeting, but if this 'Sanctum' be a better place to prepare where some would not be distracted...," Doom cast a long glance toward Larfleeze and turned his attention back at Hal, "Then, perhaps, haste would be in order."

Hal turned his attention towards Dr. Doom as he approached them. He listened to him, glanced over at Larfleeze, then frowned and turned back to Doom. "If you're referring to him, then I'd guess the Sanctum isn't the best place. It's in the middle of New York City. If I had to guess, we'd spend more time trying to keep him tied down then getting any actual work done." he replied.
Larfleeze, who had been keeping as quiet and still as he possibly could, glared up at the group.

"Victor von Doom, eh? Oh yeah, that's definitely the name of a Boy Scout," Carlie muttered. Then she looked back to Doom himself.
"Hello, sir," she said in as formal a tone as she could muster. "I would assume the Sanctum wouldn't be the best place for Larfleeze, because, well... I dunno if you know this or not, but his ring, and his Power Battery, consume him with greed. He can't stop himself when he gets all sticky-fingered. And the Sanctum is filled with a bunch of magical artifacts that can turn someone into, like... a cat, or a fly or something."
Then she pictured Larfleeze the Fly, struggling to lift up his enormous Power Battery, and giggled. "Maybe if he wound up like that, though, it'd be good for us all..."

Doom's armor-enhanced hearing picked up Carlie remark under her breath, and restrained his usual reaction, If it is the 'Boy Scout' that you are wanting, Captain America is over there." The Latverian monarch pointed in Cap's direction, "However; I am more concerned about defeating Nekron -- rather than making snide comments about one's ancestry. And yes, the orange baboon does bear watching, considering he attempted to loot my castle, while the rest of us were discussing the Nekron threat."
Starfire glanced over where the lanterns were having a discussion with Dr. Doom reading their body language, "They better play at the nice over there."

"I suggest we adjourn someplace where there is few dead beings to attack us once Nekkron summons them. Someplace empty." Eira added in on the discussion. "Maybe the Arctic or my home country out on the rocks."M'gann nodded in agreement with Star. "Yes."
