Avarice had awoken, having recieved MORE than enough sleep the previous night and sat at a desk writing out calculations and formulating his plans into clever, developed thoughts. He still had no glasses so he'd temporarily shifted his eyes to that of his Lycan form. He made sure he was quiet, not wanting to wake Kirai. He still wondered, still worried about what would happen between them. This was a race war, he was leading one side and she was a Strigoii. He shook the thoughts from his mind and returned to work.

Kirai woke up, sitting up. She got up and picked up one of the dolls Sergei had given her, holding it and looking at it for a while. It made her rather sad, and it also made her wonder what would happen after the war was over. After a few moments, she put the doll back, put on a white blouse with a black vest and long black layered skirt. Kirai then sat in a chair near the window of the room, and worked on a black doll of a bunny she had not worked on for a while... looking out, she noticed the new castle in the distance, and found it safe to assume Sergei was an elder now, and that Gregory would stay with him. Letting out a sigh from thought, she went back sewing.

"How sad you look, love." He said, leaning against the window frame. He'd finished his work and decided to go find his dear Strigoii. "Why are you sad?"

Kirai looked up at him and smiled. "Well, I'm not sure it has ever occured to me before that the more you care about things, the harder decisions are to make. So... I'm still just getting use to it, thats all dear. So how has your day been?"

"Well, it is obvious... my future and love is with you. And, I am rather different than other vampires, so I have never really considered myself one, or been around others. At the same time, it worries me about once I eventually do die and become a nosferatu how lycans and vampires will respond to me, even if the war is over by then. However..." She went back to sewing, and smiled calmly. "It is worth it, most certainly."

"Yes, I know." He said, walking over and wrapping an arm her shoulders. "I worry about it often myself." He watched her as she sewed, finding it very fascinating how precise her hands were with the stitching.

"I know..." Kirai finished the last stitch, and the bunny was done. It had light blue buttons where the eyes should be, and black and blue ribbons tied around the ears and neck, with a cross charm for the necklace. She smiled, happy with how it turned out. "Now all this little one needs it to be stuffed."
