Kara smiled halfheartedly this time, not really believing him right now.
"I don't know Quin, I will try to help her but I don't garentee ANYTHING." Phantom looked down the hall. "Do you want me to?"

he noded slowly, tugging at Kara's foot as he murmerd. " nine years. she was taken from me for nine years.." playing with Kara helped him relax, and he found him self smileing slightly as he tickled her. he would make things right with her.. but Lily was right. he had to give her time.
he looked up at Phantom and smiled, shakeing his head. " no.. i think Lily is right. i shouldnt have done that.. but i had thought.. i was just careless." he relaxed, seeming in a better mood. " thank you.. Phantom, lily. and of course Kara, i cant think of any people better at cheering me up."

Kara laughed when Quin tickled her and wanted him to hold her again.
"Then I shall run through the building and around to find her. Take care of Kara for me." With that Phantom was off. She went through the halls, looking for Sark.

he carfuly took Kara, playing with her as he looked after Phantom. he called after her. " she isnt here, i cant feel her on the grounds anymore Phantom. its alright, lets just pick on Kara for a bit. then we can look for her." he hoped she understood why he said that, he didnt want to sound cold. at least, not in this. but Sark needed space, and he couldnt force her back here.

Phantom came back and sat on the bottom stairs, watching Quin and Kara.
Kara curled up in Quin's arms. For a theif, she enjoyed his presence.

Lly smiled and handed Kara to Quin. "Ok not to pry or anything but... what happened to her mother?" She asked hoping it wouldn't be a raw subject.

his face never changed from teaseing as he replied, still playing with Kara. " she was killed right after Sark's third birth day. though Sark was to young to remember.. he killed Thia right in front of her. i got home right after, and Sark was crying." he shruged, his voice toneless. " i walked into her room to find the love of my life torn to shreds."

Kara gave Quin a very small hug then continued to play with him.
Phantom listened then soon layed down on the stair she was sitting on, closing her eyes and yawning.

he shruged. " past is gone. i thought my daughter was dead after the raid, yet now i have a chance to keep her alive. " Quin looked at Phantom and frowned. " are you alright?"

"you shouldnt be worried at all." he said stubronly. he cast her a glance as the large cat's came from the house. the Panther, Hydro, laid next to Phantom as Ember sat on the ground below.

"But I do anyway, that is what I am use to by now." Phantom moved so her head was resting close to Hydro's stomach to rest on it.
Kara grabed Quin's free hand and started to gum it.

"we arnt. women just seem to think we are." he said back, a trace of humer in his voice. he raised an eyebrow at Kara and siad playfuly. " if you get to bite my hand i get to bite yours."
