"Oh yeah right," Matt grabbed onto Vanessa's wrist and turned her around. "Join us please...."

sighing he picked up his son then said, "well looks like you won't enter the ice cream contest so what about some choclate syrup i hope theres some left." walking up to lynn he said, "Well now if your so adorable, how come your not dressed up as a bear? or better yet a kitten." he chuckled some more he wouldn't let lynn live that one down.

Kyfen smiled, a little sad at not being able to eat his body weight in ice-cream but bearing it well. Watching the others begin to walk off, he turned to the woman. She had light grey eyes, and long blonde hair. Kyfen smiled. About her was the typical aura he was already associating with an immortal.
I wonder if the others noticed? I bet they did. Not just anyone who would rush to someones aid like that.
He bowed, swallowing the questions down again as he was learning to do. He wanted to know more about this small immortal woman- who looked lonely yet serene, tired yet content. But, chances are, he would never see her again. She would have upped and left by the next week.
Kyfen met her eyes for asecond, and smiled. Taken by suprise, the woman smiled back, but before any more facial expressions could be transferred Kyfen was off, chasing after theothers. He laughed when he heard Matt trying to avoid a beating from Lynn.
"I don't think you can stop Lynn hitting you if you begged, silly." He laughed, keeping his thoughts guarded.

Ugh... how long had it been since she had gotten any real exercise? Merediana wondered absentmindedly. She had been strolling towards the city for hours and it seemed further away than when she had started. Of course, as she retained her youthful appearance and seemed every bit a damsel-in-distress, several mortals had offered her a ride. She had refused every one of them outright without breaking her rhythm. She still had her pride, after-all.
Suddenly, another car pulled beside her and a large man with straw colored hair, a stained shirt, and a face scarred from acne stepped out. Gazing cheerily at Merediana, the mortal wiped the edge of his mouth and smiled lazily.
"You need some help young lady?" He asked, starting after her. Merediana paused. None of the other mortals had left their cars; if she continued walking he would only catch up with her. Sighing, she turned around to face the mortal.
"I am perfectly capable of walking. I prefer it, in fact." The mans's smile disappeared and his eyes narrowed. "I suggest you return to your car and continue on your way." She waved her hand in a gesture to send him off. It didn't work. In fact, the man only turned an odd shade of red and descended upon her.
"You ungrateful b***h....."

chuckleing seenin one big a** woopin headin matts way he didn't even need to use his gift to see that. "I wouldn't hide behind my son, for if lynn hits him in any way comeing after you she'd be the least of your worries after she's done with you. if you need some one to deffend you so bad why don't you hid behind cyrea? she's as mean as lynn, i mean miss fluffy over there." he tried hard not to luagh at the last part. he knew if she was in the mood he'd be six feet under immortal or not. She is one mean 11 year old, or ten, or even five. God this is going to be intresting.

A sphere of purple and black light came zooming out of nowhere and slammed into the mortal's face. As he was about to fall it shot back from the other side like a boomerang, whipping his face sideways and knocking him to the ground. The orb disappeared from sight, but it's holder walked out of the shadows of the night, carrying it with both hands.

Cyrea kicked the man in the side to roll him over, then jammed his face into the ground with her foot. She then bent down and checked his pulse.

The man was, undoubtedly, dead.

She touched three fingers to his back, and extracted his soul. It condensed into a grain of sand, and landed in her hourglass.

Cyrea looked up at the woman she recognized as Merediana. "I know you were capable of that. I promised a kid I would hurt him badly. I didn't actually mean to kill him, but you know how it is. Business is business. So, how have you been, Merediana?"

Cyrea looked at her black cloak. It seemed fine. She looked back at Merediana. "My robe. The one I got from Chaos when I became the leader of Death. What about it?" Then she blinked. "Oh, you mean under it. Right. Um...cargo pants and a black roll top." Then she rolled her eyes. "Granny Gaia said that if I went on the plane of mortals, I had to blend in. So, if they can actually see me, I have to wear something just like them." She checked, annoyed, down herself. "Even if it means having and exposed stomach. God, tastes sure to change fast."

"Oi, don't untie her...Dang now I get the feeling your going to un tie her!" Matt ran into the ddoor of his house, falling backward he quickly got up and walked inside, he grabbed the syrup and smiled at Yata. "Un tie her and I'll finish it all!"
