"What?!" Li barely kept her voice under control, her nails cutting into the flesh of her palms as they hardened into talons. Seeing this, Li took some deep breaths before speaking again.
"I wish I did have that damn amulet." Li muttered fiercly.
"One of his imps ran off with it." Looking at Akki, Li felt a pang of sadness mixed with the shock of Cortonimas' actions.
"I knew he was an arrogent prig...but I never thought he'd do something like this." Li glanced in the direction of Cort's snoring.
"What do we do with him?"

"for now all we can do is detain him. Kagai is going off tormorrow for a few days, we'll figure something out when he gets back. For now lets get some sleep, and dont worry about it to much. He's much to weak to be a threat at the moment, and if he wants to run away let him im much to tired to put wit him" Akki rubbed her neck once more, she was still sore and still pretty exhausted from the days events

"Alright. I'd much rather deal with him in the morning too." Li sighed, her messy hair flopping onto her face, once again obscuring her left eye, which- along with her right eye- was glaring in the direction of Cort.
"Perhaps Kagai could send down some men to take him." Li said quietly.
"You should go to sleep."

Ryoko_Youkai Ryoko nestled her head closer to Ki's and drifted into a calm sleep.
'Hahaue' A small silver and ivory hairs child cames running through the woods.
'Chichiue where is Hahaue?' The small child stopped in front a tall slender man, with silver hair and golden eyes. The man turned and stooped down and picked up the child
'Ryoko my sweet little princess why are you out here, you know the woods are not safe' He held the small Ryoko close to him afraid to let her go.
"chichiue..whats wrong?' Ryoko small hands held her fathers face.
'nothing my little princess nothing...just promise me..you will live happy' His eyes were a little sad.Young Ryoko tilted her head a little her father was sad but she didnt know why. But before Ryoko could answer there was a scream coming from some where beyond the forest.'
Ryoko woke up startle.
'it was just a dream...' She sat up slowly her long silver ivory colored hair fell upon her slender shoulders and on Ki's chest. Her hand was at her pendant her heartbeat returning to normal. Ryoko brushed some of the hair away from her face and turned to face Ki, who was sound asleep by this time. She just sat there in the glow of the moonlight trying to chase away her memories.
He thought that if he opened his eyes, he would see the dark scenery again. But no. Instead, it's Ryoko's face that he saw. She looked a little trouble.
"What happened?" Ki asked, as he tucked her hair behind her ears. "Nightmares? You're all adult now and you still have nightmares. There there..." He jokingly patted her head, and chuckled.
"If you still remember them, you should confront it."

Ryko smiled at him her soft dark Ruby red eyes glowing in the moonlight, she leaned forward an place a kiss on his chin.
"im sorry to have woken you"

She undressed and grabbed her nearest gi and flopped onto her bed. Yuuki's perch was still empty. 'stupid yuuki..why haven't you come home..' She thought to herself looking out her window, just before drifting off to sleep.

Ki wrapped his arms around Ryoko again. "Ryoko-dear, are you trying to tempt me?"
He laughed softly, and then his eyes shifted towards the balcony, where the moon is almost disappearing behind the clouds.
"Awkward. I thought coming back here would be helpful. Maybe its not the right time yet?"

Ryoko chuckled softly
"you're doing it again Ki-love" She said nuzzling his chin. Ryoko wrapped her arms around him most of her upper body was on top of his chest by now.
She out a content sort of sigh and rested her head on his chest.
"it does feel good to be back home though...doesnt it?"

She's doing it on purpose..on purpose..
"It does..Maybe a bit. I haven't done enough teasing Akki. Oh, and we should check out the rest of the town area tomorrow. Oh wait, there's meeting with the leader. And visiting Jin." Ki counted them with his fingers. "Also, re-decorate Akki's house so to irritate the crap out of her."

Ryoko laughed and propped her self up her hands on either side of his chest. She leaned forward, her hair acting like a silver veil enclosing both their faces.
"you need to behave" She said nuzzling his forehead with hers.
"besides you'll know how she is, she'll just find a way to irritate you worse than you irritate her, lets not forget the fish candy fiasco..." She said smiling.

"Ryoko-dear, if you're trying to tempt me and not making it obvious at the same time.." Ki turned their position around, so he would be on top instead of Ryoko.
"..you're not doing it right. And the fish candy fiasco, it was your fault that you didn't buy extra." He began to nuzzle on Ryoko's neck and whispered. "You do know how I love candies."

Ryoko let out a surprised laugh/giggle as he turned her over on her back.
"How was i suppose to know you'd would fight your 10 year old daughter over some fish candy?" She ran her fingers through his hair as he nuzzled her
"yes..i know." She said softly, gently scratching his favorite spot on his head

Ryoko scratched his head and played with his hair
i think it look just fine no matter what color it is, besides my hair has always been on the gray silver side and I've never complained "She ruffled his hair a bit.

"Do you realize what you just said? 'Has always been'. Mine wasn't." Ki muttered the last few words. "Forget my hair. As long as its not balding. Arara..."
Ki's fingers ran through Ryoko's hair which were spread on the bed.
"See, its still the same. Ryoko-dear, you should share the soap you use with me."
