FOr the helping skill roll, it says we have to pass a DC of 10. Is that a DC of 10 as in, if my skill is above 10 I automatically pass the roll, or is it that I have to roll a dice and get it above 10?

For Bunshin no Jutsu, the special is:

Special: If opponent fails the sense/detect check and you choose to fight alongside with your clones, opponent rolls an additional "Luck" dice with their attack. This dice does not count towards their total dice roll. For them to hit you amongst all the clones, they must roll a 11 or higher. If they succeed +Luck Roll to next sense/detect roll against technique.

Is the luck DC the same regardless of how many clones the opponent has? Wouldn't it be easier to hit a person surrounded by 1 clone than 10?

@Kouri: Roll a dice and get it above 10. Also, there are some helping skills that your opponent can counter if they wish to, such as sprint or persuade.

@Aznka: This was already discussed in the crew area and this thread. We don't want to make an academy level jutsu anymore complicated than it already is.

Are Hanabira and Karite done with their exercise now? I'm a little lost.

Well in the training skills and abilities thread, it says i must ask before beginning to train, or else i might get points docked. So since i want to learn my only clan jutsu, i wanted to start training in Taijutsu. So in other words can i have someone give me the okay to train?

What we mean by 'ok' is if you are making you're own solo training and not using one of the sample exercises. If you use the sample exercise such as one of these:

Sparring
Simply put, just have a casual match with someone. This would usually be supervised by an older ninja, but we all know that they can't be around constantly. Just having a simple hand-to-hand combat match. No ninjutsu or genjutsu, nor weaponry.
1d20 + Taijtusu
Special: If you are both students, you can only do one action per post. This means that you have to give each other a chance to dodge. The formula for that: 1d20 + Dodge. This is also a good chance to practice calculating damage.
DC: Opponent's Dodge Roll
Train: Until the other person's HP hits 0, or until both students agree that the match is over. Don't hit -5 or else you'll be dead.

Chopping Wood
Shimagakure always needs a steady supply of wood for the colder seasons! Using your bare hands, chop timber in half. You have to hit the wood at precisely the right spot or risk shattering all the bones in your hand. Also a great exercise to train your toughness!
1d20 + Taijutsu
DC: 10 + Taijutsu
Train: 0/3
DC Fail: -2 Hp

Then it's all ok and you can get to it. If you make up your own unique training though you have to let the crew check it out first.

In the Game System subforum in the area where it talks about training it says:

"Before starting individual training, you must PM a crew member or ask one in the Questions Thread to approve the training. Failure to do so may result in the training not counting for points!"

So i thought when it said individual training it meant solo as in just you, and i haven't met anyone in RP yet so i'll be training alone. And i prefur self created trainings, so i'll just suggest it here

Amane's Kick Ball!
While most Taijutsu styles rely on hitting the opponent in the face until said face breaks, the Ashi clans fighting style is purely based on swift kicks to softer regions of the body that can't be toughened by muscle as easily. In order to mimic the feeling of the opponent quickly trying to move and dodge, a game of hard ball is in order! Three rubber balls must be acquired from the supply room of the academy, then you must find a flat wall (against the academy outside, or the Grade 2 Classroom should do). Next kick each ball, immediately after one another. From there on out it's easy, you must not use your hands, and the balls can not touch the ground. Can you keep up with your swift kicks to keep the balls from loosing speed?
1d20+ Taijutsu
DC: 12 + Taijutsu (An extra +1 per ball pass the first)
Train: 0/3 (per one skill, i might try to do more if that's okay)
DC Fail: -2 hp (getting hit by a speed ball hurts!)

Anyways, i hope it's okay i assumed that there are rubber balls in the supply room of the academy. In the description of the academy it only says there is a room with various supplies, but doesn't say exactly what. So i figured it's just like a ninja gym closet (gym stuff +shuriken and such, you know... )

Ok it looks good to me ^_^. i would be wary with the increasing DC though. You may discourage yourself from training lol. If anything when you start training put it like this:

Haha, THANK YOU KATZ-SENSEI!!!

Anyways 12 shouldn't be to bad, easier than 15 <.<

Haha yeah, most the parentheses stuff was just personal justification so it didn't seem like i was just sporadically putting things down for no reason... Anyways, thanks again!

Why doesn't a smoke bomb give a bonus to Spy?

Lol planning to steal from someone? It'll be something to look into, but generally if someone drops a bomb of gas, I'd think you'd be more alert of your personal being first and the surroundings second. You can't see? So you'd be more worried about someone getting in your space no?

I know that there is a place that says what you need to do to become a Genin, but can't remember where it is... Where is it again?

Edit: I found the answer

PLEASE DISREGARD... I SHOULD HAVE LOOKED HARDER BEFORE I AKSED...

Its ok. Just next time though. If you find the answer to your question just do something like this:

I know that there is a place that says what you need to do to become a Genin, but can't remember where it is... Where is it again?

Edit: I found my answer. Nevermind.

So, what's the minimum amount of words/lines for a resting post? It says by doing a resting post you gain +1 hp, and since i'm low level it's easier for me to just rest a lot than to take a nap and be out for an entire time change?

The general minimum for posts seems to be three lines, but i just wanted to make sure that resting didn't have some weird complicated twist to it...
