Head movements were easy enough for Justyn to master. Nod for yes; shake for no. But what was it he could do to say it didn't matter or that he didn't know? Just stare? She might think he didn't hear the question. He supposed he would just have to make up his mind about it. The thought of dripping blood and the taste of the raw meat appealed to him, having tasted it before. His mind said 'no' but his body said 'Mmmm-mm, good eatin!' and so his head shook, and he came close to the meat. He paused for a second, finding it inappropriate to both eat of the floor and consume whatever dirt was on it, and to let the juices drip to the floor. He knew how much of a pain in the a** it was to get those stains out.

Cat nodded. "Raw it is then." She moved and grabbed a plate from the cupboard. A moment later she set the plate down for Justyn. Going back to teh stove she dished up Caleb's Breakfast and set it at the table with a glass of milk. "Breakfast is done Caleb."
The little boy nodded and came over to teh table. Taking a seat and grabbing a fork he started to eat.
"Ridley, you sure you don't want anything to eat or drink?" Cat asked again.

Justyn bumped his head against Cat's leg. He wanted to lick her hand, but she was in the middle of serving a meal, one which the guests would most likely not have hair all about it. Instead, he just gave her a good couple of nods, rubbing his head up and down against her legs as thanks. He looked at the plate and paused for a moment. For a moment, he didn't feel right taking this from her. He'd made a promise that he intended to fulfil, and he wasn't going to get it done just staring: He knew he had to eat to regain his strength first: Then came other obligations. He started a light chewing of the meat. Between his paws he held the meat, still above the plate, and tugged it apart in his mouth. He enjoyed every last second of it, the taste made him feel like he'd been taken to heaven. He wanted to savor the moment by eating it slowly, but there also was an agenda to keep in mind. His sharp claws were digging into the meat, and even the feel against the bottoms of his paws to the juicy red meat was an oddly pleasant experience. He was having fun just working on it for a while.

After she set Caleb's plate down Cat rubbed Justyn's head as he rubbed against her leg. She poured herself a cup of coffee and leaned against the counter, letting the warm mug heat up her hands before taking a sip. She wasn't hungry yet so she let the others eat for now.

Justyn ate only quick enough to get it done in a decent amount of time, and still enjoy the flavor. He knew it was a good source of protein, which would mean also energy to tackle the day's work. When the meat was finished with, Justyn licked his paws, both turned up the whole time, but licking one by one. This was partly for the flavor on his paws, but also to clean them, so they wouldn't be sticky moving across the floor. He could see dirt very clearly with his new senses and new view point. The floor was rather clean, which was a pleasant switch from certain other places. His own apartment had been only slightly dirtier than this, but he praised that this was Cat's building so he thought of it as much cleaner. That's why he had to keep it that way. Justyn felt a bit rude to leave his finished plate on the ground, but again, he had no choice. As a kid he would be told not to and asked "Are you an animal? If you are not, don't eat like one!" The answer to this was usually to say that he was an animal, being a type of human, and human was technically an animal. But now that he wasn't physically a human, did it now excuse him from doing such? He still had the working mind of a human...

Cat grabbed a piece of toast and munched on it between sips of her coffee. Seeing Justyn had finished she crouched down and took the plate. "Hope you liked it." she smiled and stood to wash off the plate.
Caleb finished up his food and was just now finishing his glass of milk. He smiled and wiped his mouth. "Good breakfast, Thanks Cat." He stood and placed his dishes on the counter.
"No problem, go clean up and get dressed alright, we got errands to run today." Cat instructed.
Caleb nodded and headed for teh bathroom.

Justyn purred as Cat took the plate. It was the only way he could think of to tell her what he thought of the breakfast. He supplemented this by turning on his back and rolling around, showing his belly as if to suggest it was good and filling and friendly to him. It was more instinctively than anything that he did this, but still to express the wonderful breakfast.
He picked up her telling Caleb to get ready. What could Justyn do to get ready? As it stood at the moment, he was always ready: no more or less so than always. This was kind of rewarding now, being that there was less hassle when not worried about such things as dressing up and fixing up the hair style. It felt pretty free, much like running around nude. He'd always wanted to do that, being the natural type person he was, but society frowned upon such.

Finishing up with cleaning teh kitchen, Cat put the last of the dishes away and looked about. "never did go grocery shopping the other night." she thought aloud. She looked at Justyn as he rolled over and laughed a bit. "I restate the fact that your nothing more then a giant house cat at the moment." she joked.
Caleb came out of teh bathroom all changed and shaking the extra water from his hair. "All clean." he stated happily plopping down on the couch.
Cat smiled and nodded. "Hey Justyn, can you keep an eye on him while I jump in teh shower and change?" she asked.
((I need to go to bed. I"ll PM you tomorrow. Night Justyn.))

Justyn took to his feet when she said this. He gave a confirming and serious look while nodding, then without taking his eyes of Cat, gave Caleb a gentle lick from the side of his mouth. It was as if an agent showing great respect as he accepted an assignment. Justyn looked serious to show that he was intent on doing so as best he could, but also it was kind of a way that he showed his playfulness.

Ridley smiled at Justyn. "She's a good catch, boy." he said. "A girl very much in demand. Count yourself lucky." he chuckled. "No wonder Doc took a sample of her DNA. I'll bet he's making a version for himself. Pitiful, really..."

Cat, who was was heading toward her room, stopped as soon as she heard what Ridley said. "I'm sorry? Did you just say he's making a version of me for himself? Like a clone?"
Caleb laughed as Justyn licked him, then reached up to scratch his head. "Wow, and I thought one Cat was a lot." he joked playfully.

Ridley nodded.
"Yes... he made Ciren the same way, with subtle alterations. Don't worry, Cat, It'll only look like you. the personality will be completely different... Still... it is rather unnerving."

Justyn still couldn't understand why, but he liked being scratched on his head, especially behind the ear. His sight had been altered since waking as a panther, to which he was for the most part color-blind, and only just now did he also wonder about that. He wanted to see what he looked like, but he wouldn't see what color he was. It also created a small problem with recognizing people and things, to which he had already started adjusting to sniffing. He hadn't previously known any scents aside from Cat's. He loved the way she smelled, and it lasted in his mind. Mostly, he refrained from sniffing the surrounding people because he also just as well recognized most of their voices. It was all taking a lot of time adjusting to.

"No it does not." Cat stated, feeling slightly creeped out. "Now, I know I told Tori I wouldn't hurt teh guy...but thats just...just...." She could find a word to descride the so very creepy idea.

"I'll admit that it'd weird me out too... but... how else is the old fool supposed to get freinds? He has to make them, now. Literally. Let him do it in peace... after we go get him. Maybe you can even talk him out of it. He's a little crazy, but not beyond reason." Ridley smiled at her. "Tori knows what he's doping here."
