Hello everyone! Hikari is the name of one of the characters I write about in my stories and sometimes draw... I've never taken a Japanese class in my life, therefore I just know a few words that I pick up from watching anime. Although I have Rozetta Stone for Japanese, I'm not so dedicated to it sweatdrop I know it's a bad habit but I can help it since I rarely have time for myself. By the way I'm 16 years old going on 17 soon 4laugh I joined this guild because I thought it would be fun to learn Japanese using other methods other than Rozetta and to make new friends! biggrin

こんにちわ！
My avatar's name is really long so call me Arks! I have been studying Japanese for 3 years now and am just trying to find a college where I can continue learning it.
I am 17 years old and lived in Osaka for 4 months as a student abroad. Just as a normal student at a highschool that is so desperate for students, it is even asking for them abroad. (Of course that is not how they say it but... XD It is the truth!!)
I know hiragana and most katakana but kanji.... THERE ARE JUST TOO MANY!!!

Hello!
My name is Vikki and I'm a college student (graphic design major). I'm currently taking beginners Japanese. I'm very interested in becoming fluent =D One of my goals is to stay in Japan for a year.
I can read hirigana and katagana but kanji I haven't touched yet.

heyy i veronica and im 16, i can speek some japanese, like only to start off a conversation and like plaese and thank you stuff, although i can understand some anime in raw format ^^, im going to japan this summer so i hope i can learn some helpful things!!

(My real name from America is a secret) I am a 17-year-old 11th grader (JPN 2nd year) who lives in California. I have been self-studying Japanese for 4 years. My hobbies are music, drawing (a new hobby), games, anime, Japanese and its culture (of course), and computers. I personally do not believe in the JLPT. Konnichiha! I'm a highschooler living in the frozen tundra of New York xd I've been studying Japanese for about 4 years (but for the first year I thought that saying konnichiha meant you "knew" japanese -_-) and I know about 200 kanji, learning more day by day biggrin I love drawing, Languages (learning Japanese, French though I hate it, want to learn Italian, Portuguese and German). I love movies and travel and meeting peeps! Hi!

My name is...long. So you can call me Demonic, or Demo for short. I'm eighteen, live in florida, and just got accepted into college. ^^ I've been studying Japanese for two and a half years in highschool. For anyone who says you can't learn that much in highschool, has not met the spartan ninja that is my sensei. I have scars from her class....anyway.
I want to visit Japan, because I'm not silly enough to assume it is as badass as the music and dramas I've heard and seen. If I like it, I plan to teach english or something like that. If anyone has questions or needs help, feel free to drop me a pm. Although I'm sure there is enough people here to help. ^^
