Strobe grabed her firmly by the crooks in his arms and held her tight.
"Make any more loud sounds and I'll be forced to burn your pretty face off. As one of the scientists of this place, you should know that my hands are super-heated by nature." He demonstrated by holding one up and spitting on it. The saliva crackled and boiled on his palm.
"Now, how do you know Kioko?"

Miyon struggled only for a few moments before she figured who it was that was holding her..she calmed down only a little bit, because she could still faintly hear the footsteps..
"i know who you are Strobe. so you guys aren't loose experiments, your the escapies.." miyon said sighing.
"i know Kioko because she was my bestfriend here when i was still an intern here. I was suppose to watch her, but we grew close to each other due to our past similarities." Miyon said explaining everything.
"we don't have much time! Kamuri is probaly in the second hallway comming here this instant! i can explain the rest in detail once we get to a safer area!" miyon said worriedly.

Crow's eyes slowly became less tense as the scientist explained her story, he was no expert in the art of deception, but he could tell that her story was authentic. He dropped down from the ceiling and rested his hand on Strobe's shoulder as he passed by, conveying his opinion that she was trustworthy. He then opened the compartment that he'd set Max in and propped him back up onto his shoulder, and waited for a lead from Strobe, or possibly even the woman.

miyon pushed Strobe's hand out of the way so she can move freely..Then, she ran up to a huge file cabinet and started pushing it towards the side, revealing a trapped door that lead underground..
"quickly this way!" Miyon said making hand signs meaning they better move it before they get into big trouble.

max awoke on crow's back. he was still very weak and half asleep, but he was aware of what was going on. he didnt have the strength to open his eyelids completely, so he let them stay closed. he was drifting in and out of conciousness. he mumbled something into crow's ear, though it was actually meant for he and strobe. "hurry up numbnuts. its up to you two to get us outta here, and i can hear people coming." he fell back asleep in the middle of his next sentence. "dont let them get me again......" he sighed as he went to sleep, a little drool running out the side of his mouth.

((Jeez, ya sorry, I was kinda hoping for Strobe to make a post. I'm kinda surprised the guild is still that active.))
Crow was surprised by the half-mumbled words from Max, but he agreed entirely. He quickly made his way into the passage, looking back at Strobe to make sure he came along. He had to wonder where this one went.

"there's a passageway down there, it is a direct way to the secret chamber with all the ancient textbooks and stuff...we can talk in secret there for a while." Miyon said quickly, pushing strobe in and going down herself, making sure to close the cabinet back over the entrance..
A minute later, Kamuri ran into the room, apparently, with the alarm, the smarter experiments took the moment to escape, so he has no idea wether it was just an escaped expeeriment, or the ones that werent brainwashed, but what it did look like what that they went through this room, for everything was hecktic.
Suddenly, he spotted something on the floor. It was Miyon's ID card.
"those fieds! they kidnapped Miyon!" Kamuri said picking it up. "i want the surrounding area searched until you find Miyon or they give her up!" Kamuri said screaming at the guards who were only a foot away from them.

From a far corner of the room a figure in white suddenly moved, far from any door he was able to enter unnoticed until now. "Oh my, what a bold assumption. Do you realy so quickly rule out that your little associate might sympathize with these experiments?" Doctor K spoke as if he knew exactly what had just happened in the room, confidence abound. His eyes flashed to the file cabinet in the room, but only for a moment before he returned his masked gaze to Kamuri.

Kamuri was thrown back in suprise by what he said. Doctor K was known to be one of the mst ruthless scientists and also has senority over himself.
"M-miyon working with experiments!? I-I cant imagine that!" Kamuri said, losing confident in what he said quickly.
"at least, i dont think so, that is" He added in the end, looking down.

Far from the commotion, Kioko had already finished eating her breakfast and blew out the fire from under the carved out stone pot she made. She had been watching them ever since they left, and at some points she was sure that they needed help, but she never left. Kioko had faith in them that they would make it out alive, even if that horrible energy reading from a scientist was in that lab, right above them.
"please make it out okay" Kioko whispered in a barely audible voice.

Strobe looked around at the textbooks that miyon had previously mentioned.
"I wonder what gave the scientists the idea to combine magic and alchemy with science." he said out loud, "It really is remarkable." He rubbed his hands along the spine of one cover and pulled it out, flipping open the ancient and yellowed pages.

Crow looked about the room, did these shelves really hold the research from which the scientists were using magic? Crow began searching through the shelves, he wasn't sure how long or briefly they might be down here, so he wanted to make sure that if there was anything on his innate and altered powers, that he found it now.

Doctor K walked out and approached the area next to Kamuri, stopping just in the corner of his veiw, he faced to the wall behind him. "As not to be hypocritical, I must not jump to conclusion, however Doctor Miyon has shown much more emotional interest, and seemingly even pity for these experiments. While that as disruptive as it is, is not a crime, we should still be cautious." The doctor turned slightly towards Kamuri, showing the edge of his eye from the slits in the mask. "Kamuri, I would ask that you keep an eye on Miyon, and advise her to steer clear of any radical decisions. I believe that you are more practical and sound of mind than your colleague."
