blaugh
I don't have a Spanish class this year, unlike my last 3 years of high school, so I hope I don't lose my ability to speak Spanish.

I doubt you'll lose your ability to speak it, Scoot. xd If anything, I'm sure there's a club that you could join that's after/before school to help you refresh your vocabulary and grammar structures. 3nodding

Although, I'm not sure if I'm the target subject for such a club. Kinda like how I'm not exactly wanted by our school's BSU. sweatdrop

Why would you say that? Because you're not Latino? So what? I joined the JSA club! xd I'm not Japanese. BSU? What's that?

We don't have a JSA: we have an ASU (Asian Student Union) and BSU stands for Black Student Union.
But good point with Spanish club.

Yeah, but I have a fear (not based on any solid evidence) that these clubs at my school may indirectly divide our school, though, We have a Christian club, Jewish Student Union, Black Student Union, Asian Student Union, Spanish club, French club...
Anyway, it's great to respect one's own beliefs and backgrounds as well as meet others with similar beliefs and backgrounds. I just hope that all of these clubs don't divide our school.
And this brings up an interesting point: would a White/Caucasian Student Union be acceptable?

You just made me giggle Scoot. Have you seen the new There She Is! ? It's sort of a let down... stare I was expecting so much from it, and it was sort of a "meh" moment.
Oh, and I don't believe that those clubs would divide your school. Those, I can see why you might think it might. It's more of a social gathering for sharing in that particular culture. No group should turn you away, even if you're not of that particular religion/race/interest group.
