She wiped her tears and tried to calm herself down.

"Well you kids better get to sleep. It's going to be a long night."

She quietly left the room, her photograph clutched in her hand.

"I-i hope so." She was right about the boy losing the girl. Same as the girl. She sighed and looked at Otaki. She didn't love him as far as she could tell. She had liked Theron more... But she wouldn't let his life slip away.

Rose stayed up all night keeping watch over him.

Elli went to sleep back in her room, she dearly hoped that Otaki would wake up soon. She woke up early, and went downstairs. She started cooking eggs and bacon. Soon she set the food out on the counter, and stuck her head out the door, and yelled, "BREAKFAST IS READY!" She walked back in, and put some food on her plate.

Otaki woke up, and he noticed Rose was still there. He didn't want to wake her so he tried to get up. He was still a bit weak but he was alright. He walked around to where Rose was and put her in his bed.
"Who would have guessed that your singing woke me up." Otaki said to himself. He ripped off the IV's and started making his way out the door.

He saw the doctor approach him.
"Son! I'm glad to see you're out of your coma but why are you out of your bed? You're in no position to be walking around."

The doctor walked him back to his room to find Rose on his bed.
"What is she doing there?"

"Oh that's Rose. I put her in my bed, because she looked uncomfortable sleeping on the side of my bed like that."

"Wait a minute.. you know who this girl is?"

"What? Of course. I met her at the Ocean Avenue Mansion where I'm staying for the summer."

"This is a miracle! You weren't supposed to remember anything!"

"Well I do.."

Otaki was puzzled though. "But I just don't remember how I got here.."

The doctor smiled. "Ah I see where the amnesia is. Well you're lucky your good friend here called us just in time. We picked you and her up in an ambulance and you were in bed for.. 5 days."
