Devana then had an energy walla appear in the air above her and fall onto Mari heavily and press her into the ground. It kept pressing down on her body and Mari was letting out a painful scream as the twisted woman continued to laugh. The sword was still held against the young girl's neck and she ignored the pleas from the child.

Devana's eyes widened and fought against the girl's grasp. "Stop it before I kill you, you little brat!" While this was happening, Devana did one last attack and used spikes to knock her into a tree. Mari fell to the ground was laying there coughing up blood.

The woman let out a shriek of pain as her arm was broken and the sword fell to the ground. She was still holding her by her jacket and threw her towards her parents. Before anything else could happen to her, she left through a portal and disappeared. Mari layed on the ground near that tree and was breathing heavily, still coughing up blood.

A now older Vinsa was getting ready to close his clinic, but was still in there, just finishing up a bit of paperwork.

The man jumped and dropped the cup that he was about to take a drink from on the floor. "Goddamnit! What the hell?!" He turned and seen Smash standing there holding Mari and Raine and seemed shocked. "What happened?! Where are the boys?!"

Vinsa jumped up from his chair and started to examine Mari's body. He seen that her shoulder was dislocated and grabbed her arm and her back. He then pulled them and there was a loud crack and Mari let out a scream, but her shoulder was put back into place. He then grabbed a medicine and some cotton to start cleaning her wounds. His hands were glowing as he did this. He didn't have strong healing powers, but he could heal the smaller cuts and try to sooth the pain. He remembered hearing from Bron about a woman named Devana, but assumed that the woman died. He looked over at Raine. "Are you alright, Raine? Anything hurting, dear?" He adored their children and was their doctor since the day they were born so he cared a lot for them. He was especially hoping that the two boys were alright.

Vinsa seemed taken back by this and then his eyes widened as the girl fell over, out of the chair. "Damnit!" He stopped healing Mari, which wasn't a problem since she was nearly fixed up, and picked the young girl up. He placed her on the second bed in the room and looked her over. She seemed fine other than a few bruises. He then went back to healing Mari. He was done, but she was still knocked out. He sat in a chair and could only try to grasp what was going on. He then wrote a note and stabbed a silver daggar through it. The message was sent to Bron and until Smash got back, he was conversing with him through this message system.

Garreth came from the kitchen holding a sandwich that was ripped in half and looked up at his dad. "Yea." Cyan then came downstairs and grabbed one half of the sandwich, starting to eat it. They were both wondering what happened and Cyan spoke up. "Where's Raine and mommy?"

Vinsa looked up at Smash and seen him come in with the boys. "At least they're fine." A note came back to him and he opened it and read it. "So you know, Trina said that she would watch the kids for the night if you need her to. Also, Raine is fine other than exhaustion and some bruises. I fixed Mari up and she's just passed out. Matthew, what happened?" Vinsa was a man that was formal and didn't really use nicknames with people. Garreth seen his mother laying on the bed and walked over to her, looking at her. He was relieved to hear Vinsa say she was fine. Cyan was starting to figit in his dad's arms and want down.
