So true. Hopefully I'll actually have just 40 hours this upcoming week...
But, even if I don't, I get Thursday and Friday off on Thanksgiving week.

Yeah, I tend to have the most hours of any driver in my store . . . though it is still not enough to qualify as full-time work

And not being full-time often means no or diminished benefits, sadly.
Thank you, I do. The problem is that even outside of work I have obligations that divide my leisure time. Aside fro that, I feel obligated to keep up w/ some anime (Sword Art Online S2, Mushishi S2, Fate Stay Night Unlimited BladeWorks [the anime, not the older movie], Sailor Moon Crystal, and Log Horizon S2; and that's not mentioning new IP/franchises this season) this season but have been falling behind due to my job. sweatdrop

The twin-edged blade of unemployment. I had a discussion with friends after the second consecutive week of hanging out to play a game. In college, you have three attributes: good grades, sleep, and social life. You may only choose two. As my college no longer matters, one choice is removed, so I am beginning to make time for my friends. It is quite rewarding.

@Bliss: Well, the push of society at large is to be ever-busier. I hope there's an equalizing trend in the reverse, though the ideal would simply be balance instead of extremes shifting the pendulum to the other side too far.
@Skreemer: I'm sorry for that.
@Magni: Somehow, I only managed good grades, though the lack of sleep and social life are entirely my own fault.
