Virgil Hawkins Pete Wisdom Virgil Hawkins See? That there, it nearly hurt my feelings, I'm so weakened. Why, another several weeks of that might actually force me to shed a tear. stare Hey, I know you. I've seen your Waxwork in Madame Tussaud's in the 51st century. In the Chamber of Horrors, next to Doctor Crippin.Well, so much for those flavor of the month accusations, then. To be honest, if people find the idea of unflinching honesty horrifying, I'm rather amazed we'lll last that long. stare I remember there's some festival based on you....something about you getting run over by a freak stampede of mammoth, or something.
They burn you in effigy every year.

Herne's antler's, man. Get the waistband on those pantaloons any higher, and you'll be wearing them as a doublet!

Wally_West Please tell me at least that the theme song is intact. I avoided years of "Enterprise" just because they ******** up the theme song. Well, there've been squillions of different arangements of the theme tune over the years as the pendulum has swung between versions that foreground the "Duddly-dums" or versions that foregroud the "Wooo-eee-OOOO"s. The current theme is a bit too polished for me as ideally I'd rather something that reminded me of the dirty electronic sixties sounds with the noise of keys being scraped around inside a gutted piano. It's nowhere near as offensive as the Big Orchestra version of the tune that went with the McGann film.

How long until he fights the creatures made of bubble wrap spray painted green and silver?

The death metal version's quite good, I thought.
I'm rather fond of the McCoy-era theme song and logo, because I remember them from when I was a nipper.

Wally_West Splendid. Now. How long until he fights the creatures made of bubble wrap spray painted green and silver? They've got CGI now, Wal. The days of bubble wrap and papier mache monsters are behind us.
Excuse me, I have something in my eye...
