Eli walked out onto the pitch, smelling suspiciously like a bunch of sunscreen, but then again, he had slathered it on pretty thick. He didn't want to end up looking like a tomato, after all. Sunglasses on, he scanned the teams and bit his lip. Oh yeah, Cathy was right there. He was playing against her. This was going to be awkward if he hit her. Especially if he brained her on the pitch. The headlines would read "Albino Freak Murdered by Overprotective Brother." He was certain of this. Oh well, too late to back out now, huh?

 XXXXXXXX Harper walked onto the field, broom tightly in hand, feeling more confident than ever. She had to be on reserve once again but she really didn't mind too much. After the win in their last game her love for it was spurred on. She was ready for this. She just hoped she didn't die. At least the Ravenclaws should be a lot nicer than Slytherin... Beater

Bronwen stepped onto the pitch and looked at the teams assembled. Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff was having a heck of a season, while Ravenclaw had seemed to fall into a slump. Honestly she didn't know who she wanted to win, but either way, it would be a fun game to watch. "This gave is between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Eagles versus Badgers. Now, I want a good clean game. Let's get this game started!" With a shrill blast of her whistle, she released the balls and grabbed the quaffle. Launching herself into the air, she tossed the quaffle up for the toss-up.

spaceGypsy hated to do it, she really did; that was the one thing she'd never liked about this game, having to play against Jess. Or, at least, she'd hated that since switching to the Beater position. After all, it meant she was basically trying to pummel the hell out of her best friend. But, hell, it wasn't like Jess couldn't take it; her last game sort of proved that, she'd gotten beat all to hell and still managed to win against Kenny, of all people. So, the Ravenclaw quieted the little voice of protest in her head and took the shot, lobbing the first bludger she came to towards the Seeker.

spaceGypsy let out a small shriek of pain when, instead of managing to successfully even hit the bludger, let alone get it towards her target, she missed, and the thing slammed right into her right shoulder. She heard the crack as plain as day, and gritted her teeth against the pain that immediately set in. Sheesh, hadn't she just gotten that mended? she thought sarcastically. But, nothing she could do about it. Instead, she took note of the skirmish between the chasers, and made another go at it, this time aiming at Cathy.
