**quite possibly... but he is a realist... kind of has to be with his life span... ye live long enough and ye learn a few things..**
Tam instructs her on how to set the table and lets her attend to that while he goes to the smokehouse for some meat. He decides to keep the meal simple as he's rather tired. Steak and potatoes plus a light salad. But the4 potatoes he drags up out of the root cellar are huge, almost meals in themselves and the steaks are a good inch and a half thick.

So he has her cutting up the veggies for the salad. He builds up a fire in the kitchen oven and after washing the potatoes, places them inside. Seeing that hse is already d one with the salad, he asks her to go ask everyone how they want their steaks.

He chuckles and nods. "Well, then we need to wait fer the potatoes to get done before we start those, won't we? Now, ye never answered my question... what has Honorian been teaching ye?"

"Vanilla it is then and if I lift ye up to that cabinet and ye open it, ye'll find Kero's hidden stash of sprinkles and syrups. You pick which ones ye want to use. He won't mind." laughs Tam holding her up to a small cabinet over the stove. "Hurry up and pick though... yer getting to be so big... I don't want to be dropping ye." He winks at Hopian who is watching them with a slight frown on his face. "Don't worry so much, Hope... Do ye really think I'd drop her?"
