Please, I know people worry about rares, but have a bit of faith in the folks who set up this thread! I mean, the less than 2-days-or-less rule wasn't put in place so that only those that were close to hatching anyhow could be saved & those that weren't cracked (or winged) would be at serious risk of dying still. rolleyes
I find it an insult to the intelligence of the people who started this thread that people apparently have no faith in the ability to save an egg or hatchling well within the 2 days provided for, and keep posting eggs and hatchlings at 2+ or even 3+ days 'because they have no cracks/wings at all yet'. Hello, that is what this thread is FOR, it's MEANT to save emergencies with little or no views! If 2 days weren't *plenty*, if a 3 (or even 4) day limit were *necessary*, we would allow for that! As it is, nothing with more than one day left at the time of posting has died since I've been active here, so the 2 day or less rule already gives you a safety margin of a full 24 hours (allowing for things like not being able to post at every moment of the day, various time zones, lag at the caves, etc). Please stop pushing/crossing the limits, not only is it unnecessary but it's rude to the makers & maintainers of the thread, too.

Aerienna Please help this egg. It only has 0.21 days left And thank you for adding a *real* emergency to prove my earlier point. Found: 5:53 PM (no cracks, didn't think to copy down the stats until it was already getting views but I think it was only in its 20's on uniques) cracked: 5:57 PM hatched: 6.02 PM Okay, the time between posted and found may sometimes be quite a lot longer and some that have only a few hours left may never get picked up. But it should show it's certainly not necessary to worry with 2+ days left smile smile smile

But wow!! That was quick!! That's a lot for saving the egg. You guys rock! cool

Aerienna Yeah, it gets annoying having to guess which eggs are truly emergencies and which are just people tricking others to click their eggs. But wow!! That was quick!! That's a lot for saving the egg. You guys rock! cool Well, I hurried it along a little treating it like <1 hour, adding it to my website & walking it elsewhere like on Yarold's too. Usually if it has 4-5 hours I just add it to my website only and it'll take a bit longer than 10 minutes. I figured it was a nice one to use as an example though, so that shaved a good hour off its hatching time smile smile And I think most people aren't malicious, at least not the ones who posted 2+ eggs on the last couple pages (unless some of the notorious spammers I have in my ignore file posted their eggs without me seeing them). For most of them it's simply that they aren't thinking. Really, if 3 days were needed, we'd allow 3 days, right? Ah well, enough with the ranting, I've blown off a bit of steam so now back to the dragons smile smile
