Kimi, Bri, Peter and I can sit in the four thrones at Cair Paravel. *hee*
Every time I watch that I want to make Narnia cosplay edits. heart Oh, Peter is so awesome. T__T His expressions are just heartbreaking sometimes. I want to adopt him.

In my spare time. *heh*
I will never get over the sheer perfection of casting Liam Neeson as Aslan and Tilda Swinton as Jadis. *heartfest* I couldn't have chosen better if I'd been given the authority to do so. I might have replaced Susan and Lucy if pressed but Peter and Edmund were wonderfully cast.

Were they pretty true to the book? Characterization wise, I've watched the movie but never read the book.

I read the book after i saw the movie.. and it was really true to the book. the book is rather small though so its probably easier to keep true too, unless the HP books which get bigger and bigger whee
anyone else care to notice that Aslans colors are gold and burgendy (red?) and so ar those of Gryffindors in Hogwarts? XD i know its just a fluke, but funny too

I'm the wrong person to ask. >.> I love books so much...I know in my mind that movies are entirely different media and it's wrong to expect the same experience from a movie than a book but I still can't help near-on loathing a movie compared to the original book if I read and loved the book first.
I loved the movie and that's the end of the discussion when I'm talking to myself. Liam Neeson's voice and Tilda Swinton's face and Peter's facial expressions do away with all my niggling nitpicks and I'm determined to keep my focus and memories away from the books for at least a few more years. XD

Fair deal. There are some books that I would cry if they ever were turned into movies, like the Diana Gabaldon series. You get this set idea in your mind about the characters and its killer to see it broken by a movie.

XD i'd probably be the same way as you if i had read the books and loved them before the movie was ever filmed ^^; im like that with HP XD though, the 4th one was really well done that i wasnt being as nitpicky as i was with the 3rd ^^; then again, i decided that with the HP movies, since i know the story line, i dont mind reading reviews of the movies before hand.. this way, i know what to expect and stuff

The whole fly-away thing, where its poofy and frizzy. ninja
