Probably... but you've gotta make sure that you take care of it well. Something like a stat system really needs to be solid and up to date.

Mmm... like... seeing how a stat system would be the base of someone's roleplaying character, you have to make sure it's one of the systems that's the most solid. Without holes or possibilities to exploit it.

I want to assume that's what he meant, but I'm not really sure.
As for being able to exploit the stat system... well... it really depends on how you had planned on having people increase their stats.

Shinster: I was actually planning on having the stat system linked to the training system set up that helped you get points for elevating your cosmo.
Like say, you do this type of training and you get this much for this stat and maybe another smaller number for this stat.
I'm trying to figure out a cap on the point system and everything but I'm not sure what would e a good number.
