What I would love to do is create/expand the Lore and World of HvH. Every fantasy story has a sense of history within the tale. Some idea or representation that the world the character's live in did not just spring from nowhere and the plot hence precedeth forth. This is Lore: The Tales within the Tale the help flesh the story to life, or verisimilitude, in short.

The World is a collection of Lore that creates a believable environment that grants the reader/rper a playground to enjoy.

So we need to create Lore. I'm working on two things right now: The Last Days of the Ice Realm, a Mini-story; and typing up those notes I had on how mortals view HvH characters.

What else can there be done to create Lore and who is willing to help?





@ Phantom. I was being overly simple. Every story needs a moving action and every story needs a resisting action to that moving. Otherwise, there would be no story. Normally this is defined in characters/anthropomorphisms as Protagonist/Antagonist, with the Protagonist as the moving/driving force and the Antagonist as the resisting force.

What I was saying was the this guild has no dedicated Antagonist that everyone can rally against/behind. People are complex and often can not be defined in such terms as good and evil; however, if everyone in this Guild (Heaven and Hell alike) are consistently buddy-buddy with each other in character, there is little room for such complexities to arise and conflicts to intertwine.

By having a another entity devoid of any alliances to the current characters, who has his own agenda, and uses that agenda to such an extent as to cause the desires and needs of other characters to clash, we can create a plot that emphasizes what this guild is about: Heaven verses Hell.

Would Heaven and Hell team up to take down the Antagonist at the end: It's damn near tradition at this point. But along the way, we would have an interesting plot in which good and evil are relative to the events going on.

In short: In order for the hero to get their hands dirty, there needs to be dirt. We have no dirt. I'm volunteering to help create dirt and pointing out the reason for our no-dirt problem.
