Cody made another appearance, yet again stumbling onto the scene considerably behind everyone. His eyes darted all around as he turned his head quickly, trying to locate the others.
"Alright, sorry about that. Got a little lost," he explained, his hand resting on the back of his head as he felt an abnormally large drop of sweat form on his forehead and run slightly down his cheek.

Marshtomp was bewildered by the glare and pose he received from the Grovyle. What was that about? Perhaps that was how Gex said hello to other pokémon? More importantly...THAT CAR! He rushed right over to a blue car. It was so shiny, and it had SPARKLES! Marshtomp hopped up and down, waving to Caleb. He wanted to use that one.
Caleb sighed, standing there as his pokémon freaked out over a car. How could he possibly refuse? He hesitated before walking over and climbing in. Gleefully, Marshtomp jumped in as well. Caleb helped him with his seatbelt before fastening himself in.

As Klinklang turned its gears, the bumper cars screeched to life. Chaos ensued. Gex, who was mindlessly stomping on the pedals, was finally rewarded with a sudden jolt of movement. After testing the pedals, the Grovyle figured out the gist of it. With only one target in mind, Gex went full speed ahead. Crash! The green car rammed into the sparkly blue one. This went on for a good while, until the power was cut from the cars. Gex groaned; he wasn't finished yet!
"That was fun," Rei said, hopping out of the car. A pouting Gex huffed in response.
"Alright, my pick's done. What did you want to do, Caleb?"

Caleb undid his seatbelt before he stumbled out of the car. For some reason that Grovyle had really had it in for them. They had barely been able to move a couple inches before getting slammed into. Again...and again...and again.
"Not sure...maybe go to the infirmary to make sure my head didn't come lose..." Caleb muttered. Silly Caleb.
Marshtomp laughed at Caleb as he tried to climb out of the car himself. He tripped on his seatbelt before faceplanting.

Where there's a few familiar faces! Lydia that Banette shimmied away from her trainer while he was getting awkwardly hit on by the ticket booth employee. She floated over to the familiar Marshtomp, tapped on one of his shoulders and quickly moved to the other side.
Allen sighed, finally stepping away from ticket booth, LORD she was persistent. He sighed, "So Lydia, what do you wanna d-- Lydia?" He looked around for the Ghost type, "Uhh... Lydia??" He called out with a little more urgency.

The Countess cocked her head to the side, then waved hello at Lydia. Then she turned back to Rei and gestured towards the gigantic ball pit that was about as large as an Olympic swimming pool.
"You want to play in... there?" Rei asked, perplexed. The Zubat nodded furiously.
"Uh... ok. I'll watch you from there," he said, pointing towards a row of cushioned benches facing the ball pit. She squealed in delight and made her way towards the pit, urging the others to join in. Rei walked over to a concession stand, bought a bag of cotton candy, and plopped onto the bench, munching away happily.

Marshtomp lifted his head to look and see who tapped him. Nobody there. Then he turned his head and grinned. There was someone on the other side of him though. Hi Lydia! He stood up and waved.
Caleb raised an eyebrow at Marshtomp, wondering if perhaps he should take his pokémon to the infirmary instead. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at Lydia. The scarf was a big hint that she wasn't a wild pokémon, and that she belonged to a very familiar face.
"Yo..." he said simply, waving to her.
Noivern watched the Countess playing in the ball pit, contemplating going in herself.

Lydia laughed loudly when the Marshtomp turned to see her and danced around in excitement. She sprang forward and hugged Caleb's leg before watching the Zubat take off toward the ball pit. She jumped up and down zooming off in the same direction.
Allen finally spotted someone, Rei, leaving from a concession stand to go take a seat on a bench. "Rei!" He called, jogging over, "Hey, have you seen Lydia??" He glanced around, thinking perhaps she might be near him.

Rei blinked.
"Oh, hello Allen. Lydia...?" he asked, confused. "Is she your sibling- ooooh, Lydia!" Rei exclaimed, recognition spreading across his face.
"Sorry, I haven't seen her around," he said, taking a piece of cotton candy and placing it in his mouth. Mad cackling and a dated pop song suddenly blared from within the ball pit. He opened his mouth to say something, but decided silence was best for the moment.
Further in the amusement park, a Rotom flew about, giggling with glee. So many machines! So many motors!!!

Marshtomp laughed too, unsure why Lydia was laughing but oh well. Yay happy dance! Caleb looked down, blinking a bit as Lydia hugged his leg. When she zoomed off, Marshtomp hurried along as well. He wanted in on the fun too! Caleb sighed before hurrying after him.
Noivern's ears flickered before she snorted. She wanted in the ball pit too! She scrambled in without a moment of hesitation. Marshtomp soon joined in as well, diving into the ball pit. Not long after, his fins could be seen peeking up from the balls as he 'swam' underneath.

Lydia zoomed across the top of the ball pit, knocking tons of colorful balls high into the air. She dove further down and sprang from the bottom, dragging even more balls to rain down over the others.
Allen watched as the Noivern scrambled into the ball pit. His eyes traced where to came from to find Caleb standing around not too far away. "Lydia must be in there too." He glanced back to the ball pit to find her floating above the pit throwing the balls everywhere.

A nearby high striker suddenly flashed its lights on, and over a crackling radio, a voice was heard. It beckoned the Aquans over with a taunt.
"You! You three! You look like strong, able men! Care to take a whack? If you can beat the high score, kekeke, you'll win a prize!" The voice hissed and cracked.
"If not..." The voice cackled, "you'll be a wimp foreverrrrr!"
Rei blinked. Was this thing serious?
If you like, you may take a whack at the strongman game. Generate a random number from one to fifty.
If you go over twenty-seven, you win a stuffed Pokémon of your choice and a Great Ball.
If you fail, you must battle the Rotom, which will incessantly call you a wimp. You cannot capture the Rotom, wimp.
If you get a fifty, you receive one Rare Candy.

Caleb flinched at the sudden voice from the speakers. He shrugged at the word 'wimp'. Not like he hadn't heard that insult before. Noivern gave him a look. If he was going to be a wimp forever...that meant that she would be the pokémon of a wimp! She wasn't having that!

Allen looked at the machine. "Oh... uhhh. I mean, I don;t see why not." He looked at Caleb, then Rei. His mouth pulled to one side and he shrugged stepping up after Caleb. "Here goes nothing." He took hold of the oversize mallet, which was surprisingly lighter than it looked, Drew it around behind him and practically threw it over his shoulder down onto the padded circle.
The metal piece rang out loudly, followed by a fake audience cheering and flashing lights leading up about two thirds of the way up the height of the contraption. "Oh... Did I win something?" Suddenly a slot next to the high striker shook violently and a gray blur shot out, hitting Allen in the face nearly knocking him off balance.
"NOT as much of a wimp as you could be!" The machine boomed followed by fake audience laughter. Allen squinted at the speakers before looking down at the plush toy he'd been shot with. "Aggron." His eyebrow raised as he looked it over. Slowly a smile came over the look of suspicion. "Cool."
