"Yeah." Bakura nodded his head, narrowing his eyes in concentration as he studied the napkin holder. Suddenly an angry look came on his face and he reached into his pocket. Whatever was or wasn't there made him groan, rolling his eyes. He swore and got to his feet. "I have to get something back from that guy from before. His name's Vadin, by the way."
Vadin ran his fingertips along the cold metal of the Millennium Rod. It had been easy to distract Bakura long enough to slip it away from him, but there was no way he'd go without it for long. Therefore Vadin had to act quickly. He invoked the powers carefully, just to give it a test. He reached towards the person with perhaps the weakest mental strength; Ryou. The boy was hardly stable anymore.

Kira had fell asleep leaning on ryou's bed,grasping his hand in sleep.She was exsasted.
Sylvia nodded "Ok.."

Ryou blinked, his eyes glazing over and becoming dulled, and he shook Kira's shoulder to wake her. "Kira...?" He asked cautiously, biting his bottom lip. Atem glanced up and studied the boy, and Yugi was wondering if he should get up to go use the bathroom. Vadin kept his gaze locked onto Ryou's face. "Kira... I'm sorry. I'm not ready. What I had asked earlier... for you to marry me... that was in a rush. I hadn't thought it through at all. Kira, I don't want to get married to you. I don't love you." Bakura nodded his head again, and left the cafeteria, trying to remember where Ryou's room was.

Kira blinked "Oh..." Feeling that somthing was wrong her eye glowed softly.She then frowned and got up walking over to vadin.Whenshe was infront of him she hit him hard in the face "knock it off."

Bakura came in just in time to see Vadin reeling from Kira's strike. "I was about to do that." He pointed out, then grabbed Vadin's collar, hauling him to his feet. "Now, you'll want to give that to me right about now, if you don't mind." Vadin complained, struggling against Bakura, and Ryou got to his feet with the same blank expression on his face. He crept up silently behind Bakura and grabbed a fistful of Bakura's hair, pulling him away from Vadin. "If you don't mind, get off of me." He said, addressing the wall, it seemed, not even looking at Bakura. The yami growled and pinched Ryou's wrist sharply, making the boy's grip loosen and he drew backwards.

Kira sighed and went over eazly picking ryou up like a sack of potatos.She then moved,stilling holding onto ryou and kicked vadin in the balls"Release ryou."

Vadin swore, gasping as he fell to his knees, at Kira as Bakura took advantage of this and plucked the Millennium Rod from Vadin's pocket. He paused for a moment, trying to figure out how to channel the energy correctly, and then ended up breaking the connection with his Millennium Ring, as he had when he found Bandit Keith under Malik's control a long time ago.

Atem's eyes narrowed as a thought crossed his mind. "Bakura, how many Millennium Items do you have?" Yugi looked a little concerned. Bakura tried to put on an innocent expression. "Me? Millennium Items? Whatever could you be talking about?" A smirk settled over his face as he leaved against a wall. "Currently I have four of the seven, though. All that's left is your puzzle, Kira's eye, and Ishizu's necklace."

"I'm not doing anything." Bakura snapped, putting the Millennium Rod back in his pocket. "Atem was the one who asked."

Bakura left the room silently, headed back towards the cafeteria. He wondered partly why he was so taken with this one mortal, and why he didn't just use his newly acquired Millennium Rod to just make her be his.
