Overly complex, to many plots going on at the same time, many characters that you see once and then see twenty episodes later, but Death Note has what, two plots going on at the same time, Light and L. Bleach has a few subplots, but you don't need to see the prior episode to get the gist of what is going on since they are all going to one goal.

I'm not going to argue that its overly complex. But at least it has enough interesting plot twists to keep me watching...which is more than I can say for S-cry-ed.
