Despite my father raging and moping over not getting his "traditional" thanksgiving, he liked it and it was funny to see him back-pedal. For the first time in a dozen years, we had thanksgiving dinner. Not nothing, not a sandwich, actual dinner. We brined the turkey and though it came out a bit tough, it was juicy and flavorful. The potatoes were, to put it mildly, orgasm-inducing, as they baked in the drippings under the turkey. The carrots were fabulous and my mother managed to make a fair facsimile of my late great aunt's cranberry sauce – only took orange juice and sextupling the sugar. Altogether, it was really good.

My sister and her son's are coming to visit from the East Coast so we are waiting for them to be with us.

My sister and her son's are coming to visit from the East Coast so we are waiting for them to be with us. Well a heads up..Black Friday... is suppose to be madness? Hrmmm how about I say its like putting Icing on a cake!!! easy easy! we rocked it up at our store. Had no issues. Longest wait from the back of the line to the front to check out 8 minutes! Woooooot go us smile Our district dude was super happy!

Walked outside and helped him clean trash up ( get a bit more on his good side ) and he was like man you guys rocked it. That was amazing!

Thank you for your presents... i cant believe i have so many friends - on Gaia and in my home city. Its amazing. When i was i kid i believed no one would ever want to be friends with me. I thought i was useless piece of... total nothingness. I cant believe there is finally so many people that care about me. That are my friends. Its amazing. When i feel bad i just think of how many friends i have and i know i am a happy person.
Thank you everyone. I know im not here so often these days but i check whats going on and i think about you all...
