I think it's because Kanji is probably Chris's best friend so far, and you're getting upset at him. That could be it.
And don't worry about Zeo. I can get a-hold of him. ^^

Well, It has a great story, Great characters, Awesome soundtrack(Some of Shoji Meguro's best!)
The difficulty is reasonable, but If you've played Nocturne, this wont be a problem for you! ^^
