There are diceless systems, though I've never played w/ them. The best one I know of is Amber (and those that use its system/engine).

Well, I worked all day, but did manage to get to see the fireworks with my family for the first time in years. Taht was fun. smile
I have not played DnD seriously since . . . the early 00s . . .

Alexander Magnus Now that I have my grail, the devil tail, my next pseudo goal is to collect the dragons. I have a good half-dozen, some of them rather expensive. Of course, with the rampant repaints, collecting them all is not something feasable . . . but still, something to shoot for. I still kinda floored you got it for me, though. eek * playful giggle at Scarlett* Ooh! Dragons....I'm just stoked I got Fafnir...he's the coooooolest! Have you seen How To Train Your Dragon 2, yet? I just saw it on Friday....loved it!

I was so stoked when I got a Fafnir. blaugh Had to sell off some really expensive things to get him, though. Oh well, I like the dragons more. As for the film, yes! I have seen it, and fully am excited for when it comes out for me to get and watch on endless loop for a few days.

Ah, I'm glad you managed to be with your family for that.
I haven't played 3.5 in quite a while either, but a new edition has me interested. On a cursory look, it seems promising.

The movie had a couple plot twists I did not see coming- and believe it or not, I liked it far more than TF4! eek As for the dragon, it is part of the Manslayer Duke of Lalune. There are several versions of the Lalune dragons. smile
